When I got in trouble for DV, she didn't listen to my story, she pressured me first time I saw her to plea out with out listening to what happen, and basically told me I couldn't win in court on self defense because I was male. She pretends to be a good public defendant but is not. If she ends up being you public pretender you should get someone else.

Melissa was amazing! She always kept me in the loop about what was going on with my case and when we would have our appointments it felt like she truly cared about my case and she did everything for me to win. She was very respectful yet assertive in court. I am very thankful for her!

She was terrible. I hired her for a case to help me fight for my child back. She let me sign things that I had no idea what they meant! Now that I have a new lawyer that actually cares about me and my case he has told me I have basically signed my rights as a parent half over. Despicable! How can you take money from someone and not look out for their best interest. I paid this woman so much money and trusted her with my child. I am just so frustrated and I feel so conned.

I have witnessed two cases that Melissa represented. Mine and my fathers. She allowed the DA for both cases to get their way. When in both of our cases, logically we were in the right. Just another example of the legal system being nothing but a bunch of power hungry money grubbers working together.

She is very knowledgeable about the law, and respected by her peers, judges, etc. is a great listener, explains things clearly, timely communication..She brings sanity and calmness to insane situations.She is empathetic and will help you as much as you desire. Is fair in her pricing., not outlandish like most.
