Over the past two years I have been very lucky to have Sherwood Family Law helping me with my child custody case. As of today I have full custody of my son and every court appearance has gone our way. Daniel Strausbaugh is an outstanding attorney and and all around kind person. I live 3000 miles away and had a case in which Megan Paull sucessfully represented me where I won sole custody of my daughter. Then several months later, she won my case where I sued for legal fees. She was very communicative, ever the professional, and a real shark in the courtroom. I appreciated her attention to detail and her personal investment in my case really resonated with me. I also appreciated her honesty with me when I could have made mistakes in my case, she set me straight rather than tell me what I wanted to hear. I would highly recommend retaining her services! Ryan Hamilton completely understood my position from the initial consult and paired me with Daniel Strausbaugh, who was a brilliant guide through the entire process of securing educational placement despite not having primary custody (weekly 4/3), albeit joint custody with a problematic, flighty, and self-serving party. Representation was not cheap, but ensuring stability in my daughters formative years and into her future is priceless. 10/10 would hire again.

Friendly staff and “act” professional, however my experience was terrible. I was told to not worry about my case and didn’t need to do anything since it would be no doubt a open and closed case for me. Got to court with ex wife and was totally the opposite. They did not prepare me nor tell me what I should have been doing the entire time I was waiting for the court date that could have got me the outcome I wanted which was to have my daughter. Also took weeks sometimes to even speak with my lawyer to answer important questions. I was charged way more than the retainer fee for them to do hardly any work or preparation. Absolutely do not recommend this place. Fired them and retained a great lawyer that said that was terrible practice and they got me prepared right away and now I got what I wanted months ago. This is my opinion only and I stand strong to this. Be extremely careful of what you choose if you want results.

Ryan and his team were amazing - Ryan made my requests a reality, and his team executed my case promptly and perfectly. Everyone in his office was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Great experience with this team. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was supposed to get a call back, yesterday, from someone about a consultation and to go over my matter. I never received the call. I typically do not call people out on this one of stuff but this is not a light situation. Divorce is serious and extremely emotional. I can't have a lawyer that doesn't care. Update: Ryan was nice enough to reach out to need on this holiday to follow up what happened, which was much appreciated.

Megan was great! She helped me get through a really tough time. I had false allegations made about me and she showed that not only were they untrue, but the individual making the allegations was unreasonable, not credible, and vindictive. I highly recommend her. She was absolutely fantastic and made the entire process much easier to go through.
