We won the case!!.......and I couldn't be more thankful to Karen! She is wonderful and truly listen to you. Karen is very sharp, she really pays attention to what you have to say while thinking how she is going to approach the case. She is extremely real and honest and looks for the best interest of her clients 100 %. Thank you for all your support Karen!

I was in a situation where there were many people that didn’t like me and chose to try and take me down for crimes that I didn’t commit Ms. Mockrin did the work to get details of my case revealed to prove my innocence went over all police records painstakingly watched over two and a half hours of video footage that was being used against me watched every second of it to point things out that ultimately proved my innocence she made sure she had a medical expert that had credentials to testify in a court of law in my defense he was able to explain to the jury the difference in some of the medical assessments done which also in turn further proved my innocence I am honored to have had someone that would take the time to look at my case and care she is a very passionate professional and I’m grateful that she isn’t one easy to push over because I’ll tell you things got very intense in there and she was able to keep me calm and focused the words I have written here are far from the words I can’t even find to describe my gratitude for this woman she fought for me when it seemed I had no hope

I hired Karen to help me on a duii case and she went above and beyond to help me and she got everything we were going for against the prosecutor. I was glad and proud to have her on my side in court she fought a hard fight and won against some really bad odds, i would recommend her to anyone that needs a good lawyer

When my family was in legal crisis, Karen showed up like a part of the family! After spending 24 hours attempting to locate our incarcerated brother who was picked up on a parole violation and was being held without access to legal counsel, we were lucky to find Karen, who helped us make sense of the complicated situation and navigate the legal, bureaucratic, and emotional challenges. karen is awesome. she knows the law to the tee. she handles herself elegantly and diligently. she will fight for you till the bitter end. she was my public defender and was found not guilty on both accounts.

Ms. Mockrin is very passionate about her work and the Constitution. She makes sure everyone gets the rights they legally deserve. She is an advocate in many organizations. What is more impressive, Ms. Mockrin went up against the Oregon state Supreme court, she had 10 attorneys she had to represent her case to. In doing so, it gives Mockrin insights and she is focused to detail in the law or what other case files she can consult to when presenting you in court. I have only glowing praise for Karen Mockrin (and her partners at Bodzin Donnelly Mockrin & Slavin), and much thanks for all of her assistance, before, during, and even after my hearing, by coming to visit. I am amazed she did the great job that she did, considering that I could barely function due to the stress of possibly being incarcerated looming overhead. I'd been left out to dry one to many times by court appointed attorneys,in the past, and I am so grateful that I somehow, as if by divine direction, found Karen Mockrin on AVVO and made the call. I truly believe it was the difference between years of further incarceration, versus the 30 days in county jail , no further probation, and 250 hours of community service that had been court ordered prior, wiped away, which is exactly what happened! Karen literally saved my life, and I am so thankful for her dedication, combined with her ability to see things from many perspectives and change up the game plan, if necessary. Her honesty, knowledge, and confidence, together with her tenacity and covering every potential pitfall , makes her a dynamo in court. She is a beast, bro! She tears it up in the courtroom! Did you see that poor DA? She looked scared, bro. Like she wanted to cry, bro!" I swear, his words as I remember them, not mine. And, he kept saying it loudly, over and over. He also asked for her name and said that she would be his 'go to' attorney, if he ever needed representation again, and unfortunately, it looked as if he probably would need much legal counseling in the future. He was very impressed, and he was not alone. You really have to see her in a courtroom, in action, to appreciate her skill and manner. Right now, I am a 100% free man, sitting here typing this, sipping some tea, petting my cat whose sleeping and snuggled in my lap, and ready to start my new business; my new life, really. And, I do not think for a moment that it would have been possible without the care, guidance, and attention that Karen Mockrin gave to my case. It was worth every penny, and then some. In fact, it is hard to put a price on the freedom she helped me to achieve. Thank you, Ms. Mockrin, from the bottom of my heart. You will always be in my prayers and I am glad you are who you are, doing what you do! You are truly a guardian angel to those in need! She and her team were EXTREMELY helpful in every aspect of my son's case. They persued all avenues applicable, and worked hard for him.
