I called for a "free" consultation and I was offered the choices of receiving it over the phone or in person. Due to covid-19, I chose over the phone for safety reasons. The lady then told me that over the phone, the charges would be $200 for this "free" consultation. When I asked her why, she replied with "Um, its because in person its more detailed for the attorney.' As if that makes any sense or is a logical reason to cough up $200. The point of a consultation is to ask questions about your case and receive advice and feedback. From there one can determine if said attorney is the proper person to hire for a case. Attorneys advertising "free" when in fact they're just money hungry is ridiculous. I'm sick of it.

Attorney Berger was instrumental in smoothing what could have been a nightmare process. I sold property that was included in a bankruptcy proceeding from another state, and he didn’t bat an eye. As emails flew back and forth while details were being ironed out, he intercepted and responded sometimes before I ever laid eyes on the email, and answered any questions I had throughout the entire process. While Pennsylvania doesn’t require you have an attorney for closing, the peace of mind I got in his representation was priceless.

This is a review for David Charles Berger; he was hired for the purchase of our Beverage Distributor, Wise Guys Beer Depot. To say he was just a lawyer through the whole process would be an understatement. David was legal counsel, supporter, and at some points the voice of complete encouragement and reassurance. Dealing with the Liquor Control Board and waiting for approval can be a lengthy and nerve racking process. Throughout the entire process David was able to seamlessly guide us and make sure we were prepared and confident throughout the entire course of our purchase. David went above and beyond his role, he answered emails on the weekends and away from business hours, he was there any time we needed him to field questions or to reassure us of any concerns we may have had. Seeking legal counsel in this day and age can be a scary and unpredictable thing. Hiring David was a blessing in disguise; he was everything you could ask for in legal counsel and more.
