Unfortunately, I was served with a temporary PFA and the hearing was 10 days after being served. After a web search for PFA attorney's in my area, I was having a very challenging time finding an attorney who was even available on such short notice. I was getting desperate because it was Friday and there was now only 4 more days until my hearing. Even though I wasn't too comfortable with it, I was about to retain a lawyer from way outside my area. So I thought I'd make one last attempt at finding a "hometown" attorney, Kate returned my call the very same day. She was very attentive listening to my situation and reassured me that PFAs are easy to obtain and there was no need to panic. She sounded trustworthy and said we still had plenty of time to meet to go over the details, so I retained her and we set up an appointment. We met for about 2 hours 4 days before my hearing and I was able to provide more in depth details, along with some history to give her a more complete picture of the situation. Kate was very patient hearing my side of things and listening to my concerns. She explained that none of what happened in the past had anything to do with this PFA and that the judge would not be interested in hearing all the details I provided, nor any tangents the plaintiff would try to invoke. She explained who the judge was and how to conduct myself during the hearing and was extremely helpful in calming my fears and doubts. On the day of the hearing, after the plaintiff presented their side, she asked several questions that knocked holes in their story and cast doubt about the reason the PFA was filed in the first place. Kate kept me focused and on point and, after only about 15 or 20 minutes, the PFA against me was dropped! Ms. Roberts did a fantastic job representing me! I was very impressed with how she prepared me for this very stressful situation. She knew exactly who the judge was and how to conduct business in the judge's courtroom. All for a very reasonable fee in comparison to the out-of-town attorney who was going to charge me 3 times as much. As she explained, many PFAs are about perception, as in my case, so just be honest! If you need help with a PFA defense ... HIRE HER!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Unfortunately I've had to use Kate twice, she's a no-nonsense attorney, completely honest and will always work in your best interest, even if it's not what you want to hear. Very knowledgeable, and will always get you the best deal possible.

I got PFA violation 2 years ago and searched around for an attorney that would pay attention since I had bad experiences with lawyers years ago. I called Attorney Roberts and it clicked right away since #1 she called me right back, #2 she talked to me for quite a bit about the case in our 1st call (A LOT MORE THAN MOST LAWYERS WERE WILLING TO DO). #3 she gave me a fair price of $1,000 on the PFA violation and then we had a formal conference to go over everything and 2 more conferences to make sure we were all ready before the hearing. That was totally the opposite of what I was used to from lawyers in the past so a good sign. To top it off she said she can’t promise an outcome but felt confident and after a messy hearing, we won thank god because my ex could’ve put me in jail with lies…. Fast forward and my son gets a DUI charge and an aggravated assault charge for an incident at a bar in Allentown. My son wasn’t challenging the DUI but he absolutely denied assaulting anyone. (he was at a bar where a fight broke out and a person got hurt but my son quickly left and cops pulled him over cause he ran away and said HE was the assaulter). That big mixup put my so who has no record in jail for nearly 9 months, plus all through Covid and I was scared to death he was gonna get covid and die in the jail. He actually got covid but luckily recovered. Cops barely investigated anything in the case and Attorney Roberts said the police investigation was totally amateur and a high school kid could’ve done better. Attorney Roberts gave me a really fair price and told me we had to be patient and strong to fight it out in court cause cops wouldn’t just withdraw charges like that. After a LONG wait and many hearings, my son ended up with just the DUI and a pretty sweat deal on the DUI too. Attorney Roberts asked me to write a review and tell the truth so people can tell the difference between lawyers who help you and ones who steal your money and just don’t care. I wanted a lawyer who was gonna do more than the bare minimum, return my phone calls, and also not just tell me what I wanna hear. Thank you for all your hard work twice for me and my family Mrs. Roberts. I appreciate you and you will be hearing from anyone I know that needs a lawyer!!

Where do I start? Attorney Kate is great at what she does which is defending you. My pending charges were high (Felony Aggravated assault, Domestic violence). The police report did not have all of the information which unfortunately made me look bad. It almost seemed impossible to get any help and prove my innocence. I spoke to multiple lawyers about my case and most of them seemed dismissive like it was over for me. Attorney Kate was the only one who really sat down to listen and weighed my options from worst case to best case scenario and never sugar coated anything. She knows the system and is also very educated in the law. Most importantly she was extremely personable and sympathetic to my situation which is not easy to come by in lawyers. I knew what was going to happen every step of the way and I was prepared each time. Also she is great at getting back to you when you call. Attorney Kate eventually got my case dismissed. DISMISSED! Fairly quickly. I am studying to be a nurse and she saved my career and proved my innocence most importantly.

We hired Kate Roberts from a recomendation of my husband's boss. Our son goes to Muhlenberg College and got a DUI last year during Covid. It was based on a very tiny amount of alcohol plus that he had marijuana in his system even though he told he'd smoked a little bit of marijuna at a party a few weeks before the police pulled him over. Who knew you could get a DUI for that, even when he wasn't showing signs to be intoxicated enough for a DUI and the cop told us that???? The DA apparently overruled the cop and said yes, even though he wasn't showing signs of intoxication his blood level has marijunana and it's a DUI automatically. ........bet lots of people don't know that either. Kate spent a really long time explaining all the ways a DUI can happen and really educating us. We appreciated that because we consulted with several lawyers before calling her and they were quoting us alot of money but also not nearly taking the time to explain it all in a detailed way. Guess lawyers think non-lawyers wouldn't understand. Anyhow Kate was really nice about my numerous questions and helped our son get through this without jail and not get kicked out of school. We are forever grateful.

Miss Roberts got me a great plea deal for an old case involving bad checks. Got charged as a felony and she got it knocked down to a low misdemeanor when I came up with some of the money to pay off the bad check. No jail and not even any probation. Just had to pay some court costs and a small fine. Really nice lady on top of that! Sorry but not all lawyers are so nice. This one is

I hired Kathryn Roberts years ago and were going through a process on the case , but before hiring ms Roberts i had paid 500 us dollars for 10 min. On a Consultation to a lawyer before ms Roberts, i had let go of that lawyer once i read reviews of ms Roberts and i dont regret i did , even though i lost the money but its really worth it and its being great , thanks ms roberts

Attorney Kate Roberts is a terrific lawyer. She knows her way around a court room. She included us in her thought process throughout the case and she is very knowledgeable. She explained everything that was happening and what all the possible outcomes were. She told us what she was trying to accomplish in the courtroom and the outcome of our case was exactly what she said she was pushing for. She is very nice and I would definitely recommend her.

Just hired Ms. Roberts for 3RD time in a PFA case cause my ex thinks she can file a contempt on me and make up a bunch of lies and get away with it. Kate won the 1st 2 PFA contempt cases so I hired hired her again of course. She rocks!!! She explained what kind of evidence the judge will consider and how to use it in court without getting objecting. I already referred a bunch of people to her on some other little cases in criminal courts. No one told me anything but great response and the biggest thing is that she's HONEST and tells you like it really is and whats gonna really happen. So far she's 3 out of 3 in telling me how the case is gonna go. Awesome attorney!

Kate worked tirelessly on my expongement case while I was living in Florida. She went above and beyond. Im happy to say my past is now exponged!! I was able to get a good job. I recommend anyone needing legal help to give her a call. She is pleasant....kind and caring. Kate will go out of the way for anyone who needs her.

Hired her 3 years ago for a case with my son in the juvenile court and was so happy cause I shopped around a lot before I called her. She gave me a long explanation of the legal process in Lehigh county and told me a lot about how the judges think on certain kind of cases. My son isn't an angel but the Da really wanted to stick it to him. Bottom line I hired her. She kept us up to date the whole time and I was very happy with the outcome for my son. Then 3 years go by and I find myself in trouble unfortunately with my ex who was claiming abuse. She told me that the courts don't always just believe whatever the woman says anymore and judges know that the ladies can manipulate the court system to get what they want..I was hit with domestic assault charges and I thought I was done but Ms. Roberts helped me realize I could fight this and the court system WOULD listen to me. My ex said everyone would believe her but Ms Roberts said just be patient and don't give in just to "get it over with". It's been a long process with the police and DA but it's almost over and I'm really happy with how the case has worked out. We had a little delay due to Covid 19 but that's Ok by me. Ms. Roberts got me the right result. More than happy to pay her fees and would recommend her highly if you wanna stay informed and have a lawyer who has a lot of inside information about what goes on in the courts.
