Unreal been with them for a number of years definitely to Long there is very very little communication the balance in the account doesn’t make any sense they have only completed one out of three accounts they didn’t settle the first one for about three years but collected there cut from the first payment SCAM

Do not trust this company. They don not pay your bills they just take your money, I already paid over $7,000 and collection companies are still sending me mail and letters to appear in court. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Best thing to do is to get a lawyer and look into this company they are just taking peoples money.

I rated two Starr, because we did accomplish something, but after all we've spent and time invested, it left us Very disappointed in the final outcome and behavior of Jovanna, who was the last rep we dealt with! We felt misinformed about this entire process, because we only wanted to consolidate our credit cards to pay off early via one payment plan; only to find out after the fact, that Debt Settlement is very similar to Bankruptcy, which means your credit will get messed up going thru the process, and afterwards it's no guarantee that those creditors will help you rebuild your FICO and credit worthiness; furthermore, HLG Will Not Help You Rebuild Credit Worthiness! In addition, we were positioned to pay off remaining credit card debts approximately 1-year earlier, but once we advised HLG, we feel that they didn't put forth efforts to maintain their promise to get close to 40%; therefore, stop fighting hard for us, even to the point we had threats of liens and other law firms pursue what had been trusted into HLG to handle for us! Of course being quiet upset, Jovanna reacted personally and I told her she shouldn't, but time and money are valuable commodities in a person's life. Wouldn't you get upset receiving an invoice to pay, after HLG and the debtor agreed upon a settlement? Yes, I'm upset and Jovanna has ignored addressing this inappropriate matter for a resolve! I have dealt with several HLG customer service representative whose behavior were just unacceptable, disrespectful, and rude! I will Never Refer HLG to anyone, nor recommended going thru a Debt Settlement program... unless you have no other dreams or large purchases to pursue! As long as people feel they control you, they try to be nice, but as soon as God changes your status, empower you, and regain your self control, then they change and treat you with little regards. It's unfortunate Jovanna took this low road, after all the fun conversations we've had. Anyway, I hope my brief story will help others to reconsider their position.

I have worked with this company for a while now and seems they give me the run around. I had emailed, called and asked to talk to the person on my case, not once have I received and email or call in return. The creditors are calling and nothing has been done. I was hoping this firm would help me. I guess I was wrong. I barely have anything and trying to do my best on getting rid of my debt. However, this firm is making me more and more in debt, but they are taking my money though. I have not seen one thing done. I will be retracting my accounts, my payments ect. I'll have to fine someone else now or try and work with my accounts by myself. This is horrible for people when they try and trust you will help them.

I do not recommend this company and beware. I was told very good things by the representative who I spoke to and they told me that they help you and you would end up paying 40% or less of your debt. This is not true my contract was for 2yrs and I had 2 month left to go when they decided to cancel because I told them I did not have the $700 more they are asking. They are now saying that 2 creditors did not want to settle and that I been paying attorneys fees and those are not included in the contract. Please beware because they will not honor the contract and they are supposed to be the professionals but they will wash their hands and leave you in the same debt you started off with.

I keep calling them requesting a payoff amt so that I no longer have to pay the monthly payments and keep being told they would send it to me. It’s been months and still nothing. Last conversation was last week and was told a manager would be calling me but still no call. They do not keep you updated on your acct so you have to call them and inquire about your acct and any settlements that are pending. I have invested so much time and money at this point that I just want to be done with them. If I could do it all again I would just have settled directly with my creditors. Their customer service is really bad. They are all very cordial when they answer the phone but there is no follow through with them.
