I have also paid almost $3,000 in fees with none one debt settled. I have been paying 347 a month for 8 months. I cancelled this because it's only making my credit worse and I had almost 400 in my escrow account per one of their associates and they deposited $27 in my account. And now won't return my emails. These people are crooks and prey on people who are in debt. Don't ever hire a pay for debt settlement law firm. And not ONE of my debts have been settled. Not even my smallest of around $550. This place is horrible and is ripping people off. Please spread this awareness and do not give them your money to settle anything. You are paying all fees the first year with nothing done on your account. I am going to be contacting the state attorneys office for their predatory practices.

I hired Helbing Law Group in Miami, FL for assistance with debt consolidation. They began withdrawing $527.17 each month from my checking account. They were given 4 credit card accounts to settle. They successfully settled one account. They increased my payment to $634.63 due to a second creditor not agreeing to the initial settlement percentage. The paralegal handling that case dropped the ball and they never started the payments as agreed. The creditor brought a huge lawsuit against me. Thankfully, the attorney they hired in my area to represent me, was able to get that dropped. But then the creditor denied the settlement for HLG’s negligence and demanded 50% down of full payment from me. I contacted them and told them that’s what they’re charging me the large fee for, and that it was THERE responsibility to pay it. And I also informed them I would NOT be paying them additional funds for their negligence. The creditor also filed to garnish my wages at 25% until balance is paid in full. Because of payment made by HLG, garnishment is supposed to be stopped. Bottom line: I would never recommend this firm to anyone. I pray they fulfill their contactual obligations and fiduciary duties for the remainder of the contract. WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THEM.

I PUT IN MULTIPLE CALLS AND EMAILS WITH NO RESPONSE! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS! MY WIFE WROTE A REVIEW ALSO AND IT IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, SO THEY CAN REMOVE BAD REVIEWS. HOPEFULLY YOU SEE THIS BEFORE YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID AND THINK THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO HELP 😡

I'm warning all of you. Do not use Their service.I've tried to call them several times and they never call me back. I just got summoned to court from a creditor. They take advantage of people during hard times in their lives. Hopefully I can work this whole matter out on my own.
