It’s been 4 yrs and 2 months that my credit cards have not been settled. I am beyond frustrated I am angry . I kept my side of the negotiations. They did not , I give them a negative 1 rating. They are unreliable and very unprofessional when it comes to resolving your credit cards.

First of all please be aware that are TWO companies with HELBING in the name. Helbing law GROUP and helbing law LLC…. Helbing law GROUP has terrible reviews and LLC has great reviews. When I signed up I read the wrong company reviews and signed up with helbing law GROUP. I Made payments for 18 months totaling 6000$. They settled two of my debts for 💯 percent!!!!! They paid 1200 dollars to my actual debt and kept over 4000 for themselves for upfront fees!!!! When it came time to settle my 3rd creditor they said they didn’t have enough money to settle it so I had to agree to pay twice as much monthly for another year or they were going to let them garnish my wages!!! 😡 I asked them for a breakdown of where all my money went and it came showing 1179$ in payments to creditors and literally nothing to show where the rest went. I called them and they said we take 25 percent of your debt up front. I canceled them and called my creditors to make an arrangement with them and GUESS WHAT I FOUND OUT?!?? Helbing law group hadn’t even been in touch with them in over a year!!!! They were taking my money and literally not doing any of the “ services” they claimed they were doing!!!!

Updated to ONE star - they have ruined our financial LIFE!! They even lied to the state govt when I filed a report. Overall a SCAM, don't do it!!! Maybe they've changed recently. 4 yrs ago: very helpful & thorough, gave us a payment plan, represented us, seemed great. Finished payments last fall. Now: $18K later, they only settled one debt for $6.5K. They took $12K in fees and just asked me for $300 to settle the second one because they're out of $. They still have one more to settle, which I'll have to pay for completely. The accounts all accrued interest because of waiting 3-5 years without payments, so the amount is much higher, and you have to claim the waived amount on your taxes... I just lost $4000 of my tax return because of the first settlement. Bummer!!!!!

Paid them for 3 years over 6000 and lost credit rating no card ever paid off

They told me that it would be a 2 year process and I'd be done with it all, it now pushing 4 years and when I called they told me oh sorry we're not done yet. Yes they have gotten my debt down but not to where it's enough, them taking their time is really affecting my credit score also.

I've paid HLG almost $10k in the past 2yrs and have seen none of my money paid on any of the creditors I signed over to them to settle. I've received summons' at my home twice from the local sheriff dept from 2 of the creditors placed with this firm! I pay $410/mo and now they want an additional $150+/- each month because they say they are unable to get the agreed upon settlement amount from one of the creditors. I can't afford them! Now I'm stuck seeking assistance elsewhere and have no idea where all the money has gone that I've sent them for 2yrs! They are hard to contact, difficult to understand whenever I do reach them and they never reasonably explain things to me. I'm done trying to deal with them.

They are the most low company, they called my mom and asked for more money, my mom started the delbt with 2500 and now because of them the interest increased more than 50 percent, now they asked my mom another 2500 dollars to close the account, this people what is that is take advantage of elder people they are trash never trust on them They are scammers, they asked you to pay upfront and then they will get the best deal with the banks but after you pay them the agreements they do nothing, big time scammers they owned me so much money, not just me also my mom, now they domt answer the phone i tried to contact them and then dont answer the phone This people only want your money! Once they take money from you they wont do any work for you! They never gonna people or contacts the creditors they never gonna lower as they say 40 % ur debts once u finish paying the what they ask you they will ask you for more and more once you realize they wont help you they will block you from their data base BECAREFUL THEY ATE REAL SCAMMERS

Yes this company is full of scams and schemes and they prey on the vulnerable. They act as if they big this great help to you when they actually take more from you causing you to be in deeper debt than you were before you hired them. I’m now filing a complaint with the attorney general’s office as well as the better business bureau against this company. They should t be allowed to continuously rip people off and think they are going to keep getting away with it. People need to be made aware of predatory companies like this and report them!
