absolutely terrible experience from the start. When all is said and done, between their fees and the length of time it took to settle accounts, I barely saved $1000 in settling my debts. I wish I never started with Helbing. Customer service reps have never been pleasant- I take that back- there was one gentleman who was so kind and understanding that even he admitted that things weren't done right by me, I wish I had his name. He's probably no longer there because I can't see an honest individual working at Helbing for too long without their conscious bothering them. I finally have the funds to pay off my debt and I'm getting the run around. No one can answer my question how much I have left to pay, only the accounting department but they don't take phone calls and it can take 3-5 business days to have my question answered in writing- unacceptable! I've dealt with another debt consolidation organization which was wonderful and within minutes of calling them to pay off that debt, it was paid and I was congratulated. Helbing has been nothing but stressful to deal with. I would steer very clear if I were you.

I have tried several times to reach someone from management. An employee has given out my information and details about the case. For the past several weeks I've been receiving calls from a scammer named Ashley indicating she is from negotiations that work with several creditors: chase, bank of America, among other made up creditors. She has provided me with my last 4 SS#. I have contacted helbing law group requesting to speak to a manager and everytime I call, I am told they are not available. On August 19, 2022 at approximately 6:10 PM. an unknown number called and once again impersonated negotiations and helbing law group and demanded an account number to process a payment as my account has graduated and been completely payoff. At that moment I called helping law group and managed to get Juan on the phone. I inform him I was getting harassed by negotiations and at this point he mute his line and listened in on the scammer calling me. Then when I told the scammer that Juan was on the line they hung up. Juan also was confused as he didn't speak proper English and was supposed to document the situation and forward an email to management and try to figure out what was happening. Today August 22, 2022 at 4 PM I called helbing law group to follow up and found out nothing has been done with this information. A family member of mine has been dealing with this company for almost 5 years, trusting they would help her. They have done nothing bad have gotten her summoned to court several times. Their lawyer has been disrespectful and has also said “I don’t have time for this.” This place is a scam and I wish she never came across it. We have to dig her out of the deeper hole they put her in. They don’t address your concerns or try to give you answers.

This company is a scam. Do not choose them to consolidate your debt. We will be demanding our money back. We are extremely disappointed.

This is the worst law group to have handle your debt. I've been with them since 12/2020 and they have settled 1 debt of $200. It is now Aug 2022. They ensure to take their payment twice a month but you literally get nothing for your money. No follow up phone calls, no updates on your account with Helbing, nothing. I will be going to the BBB with his issue and will consult with an attorney to see if I have options in cancelling the account with Helbing. I would've been better off making payment to these 7 creditors myself. Very disappointing because they paint a very different picture when they call to sell you their services.

They are not doing there job no information about my account

I started this process 3 years ago, I finished paying my part of the money and some credit cards were still Settled and others pending, after sending updated bills and emailing them for updates, they got an offer on one card for 45%, which is great... into they wanted me to pay the difference. HAHAHA no one has returned me the difference on the credit cards that were settled for less that 40%. On top of it all, I have a $1700 credit for settlements. WHAT A JOKE Update: I had a total of 10 account on which 8 were settled at the start of the program. After putting a review on here, sending countless emails, I was returned the balance on the "Savings Accrued" and was never answered any emails.

I would leave less than 1 star if possible. By all means, do not trust these people!! Nothing but scam artists painting a pretty picture for you to be entranced by. Once they have you hooked it's all over. After paying close to 13k to have "representation" and what I hoped to be a resolution to my debt problems, I am still here today filing for bankruptcy with a legitimate law firm due to the incompetence of Helbing Law Group. Save your money. Save your sanity. And DO NOT trust these clowns with your livelihood.

More than three years starting May, 2019 working with helbing law group to debt consolidate regarding three credit card. First time they promise me this process it takes only 4 Months. Last two years they took every month $323 from my checking account. They put me on legal case one of my Account and I paid extra for Attorney for this process also they settled not 40%. 3 years now still one of my credit Account not settled. Please be aware.

I can’t get any answers and with all the money sent in. No response to my summary of payments or accounts applied to. I recommend going to a different attorney altogether. Your money leaves your account but is not applied to your Bills. I have been garnished my bank account frozen and still nothing but empty promises. This not only affects my Family but my means to live. I’m in a contract with them and they are still taking the money out and I’m receiving nothing in return. Please watch your money.
