I cannot believe that this law firm, hasn't been sued and I cannot believe that anyone would write a favorable review of this firm. I was arrested for a DUI last year. I needed an attorney, so I hired Kitay law. It was my second. The first was over 10 years ago, but my sentence for the first one was just 2 weeks shy of 10 years ago, and it was in a different state not PA. They promised that they would assign me one of their new but most dedicated lawyer. He told me that the law in PA. states that because my previous DUI was under 10 years, I would face a mandatory 90 days in jail or house arrest, I told him I have a high profile career for a well know state company. He said he would get the DA and Judge to keep me out of jail and pay some fines and do maybe a couple of days in jail and the rest on house arrest, so that I can maintain my job, which I agreed to and was happy to accept. However that is not what happened, when I went to court there was a white man with 9 DUI's, yes that's right 9 DUI's, my attorney was representing him as well. The attorney worked out a deal with the ADA Smith, which it turns out knew the man with the 9 DUI's. This man had 8 prior DUI's his 8th was 12 years ago, so after the 10 year mark, and his 8th the last one, he crashed into a ladies car, and he was blacked out drunk, I know this because the man told me himself, he didn't remember getting into the accident. This white man, an person the ADA Smith knew, was sentence to only 10 days in jail and 1 year probation. I Latino man with my 2nd. DUI was sentenced to 14 days in jail 90 days house arrest and 5 years probation. Oh, and mind you I was pulled over for not signaling while changing lanes, not for driving reckless or getting into an accident. While I was being sentenced the ADA Smith read the wrong police arrest report. She read I was driving in and out of lanes, that I almost crashed 2 cars, all of this was false. I was getting up to interrupt her and tell the judge, that is not my police report and the attorney from Kitay, whom I hired and paid $3000. cash to represent me, stopped me and told me not to interrupt the ADA, because the judge will throw the book at me, so I asked him "Why the hell wasn't he saying anything to let the judge now that the report she was reading was not mine. He said he would handle it, but guess what he never did. He sold me out, DO NOT! hire Kitay Law to represent you, they don't give a dam, after they get your money. I would have gotten a better result, by going with a legal aid. DO NOT hire local, hire an attorney for another county. I am writing this, because the pain an INJUSTICE I received destroyed my belief in the justice system, and I do not want you to be their next victim. PLEASE BELIEVE ME!
