I was an expert witness for this law firm and despite submitting a carefully itemized bill I was never paid. Never received an explanation. All my many calls and emails went unanswered. Though I considered suing I decided to just be done with it. What chance do I have in outmaneuvering a law firm in court? But I learned a valuable lesson.
