I just attended a free webinar with this ElderLaw Office and it was extremely informative, clearly stated, examples were given, and the professionalism was most impressive. I have booked a subsequent free initial session to decide if they can help me with my estate planning goals.

We attended the estate planning seminar on 8/20/24. It was very informative. We recommend it for everyone. Needless-to-say, we learned a lot and confirmed for ourselves that we need to this process started and right away. We have already set up our free consultation. We really enjoyed the speaker, Tom Boris.

A well-organized presentation, but longer than promised. Also, no need to plead for a 5-star rating. If the presenter does a good job (which Thomas did), he will earn his 5-star rating. Better to plead for honesty.
We might suggest as a printed handout a list of âlawyerâ terms for various policies, government acts, investment options, retirement funds, programs, etc. Many of the acronyms are unfamiliar to us, though the legal and pharmaceutical professions seem to be in love with them. They can muddle meaning â to what end? We appreciated Thomasâs efforts to be clear and not take for granted that a retired minister and English teacher know all the latest legal and banking lingo. I would not expect anyone there to know the form of a Petrarchan sonnet or give me quick examples of onomatopoeia or synecdoche.
But well done overall -- educational and down to earth. Your âstrategyâ seems to be to take a sincere interest in helping elders like us prepare for the unknowable -- despite many lawyersâ and politiciansâ efforts to rob us (and our heirs) blind. Thank you!
