We have used Doug in two separate capacities. He helped us with estate planning in 2018, where we updated our Wills, Power of Attorney, Medical Directives, and Trust. He provided great advice and made the process very easy. Starting 2019, Doug has served as business counsel for my consulting business, a sole proprietor LLC. He helped me with all the start-up documents, reviewed contracts, and helps me maintain "best practices" for corporate requirements.

Having moved to Swarthmore, PA in 2009 I needed to have an up-to-date will, a Transfer on Death Agreement and a Power of Attorney. My daughter and her husband knew Doug and had used him for there legal information, so I used him to prepare those legal papers for me.

I have been using Mr. Humes' legal services since 1990, for all of my half-dozen businesses that I own and control - businesses locally and a nationwide business. And personal matters as well. Here are just some of the legal services that I have received from Mr. Humes throughout the years: Drafting Tenant and Landlord Leases, Lease Negotiations (represented me as a tenant and landlord - on separate occasions, on both sides of the issues), Real Estate Transactions (bought and sold), Court Representation (only once, thank god! That's because before I started using he's leases. NO MORE OFF THE SHELF LEASES FOR ME, thank you!! And NO more problem since then - commercial and residential leases), Real Estate Planning, Formation of Corporations, Contract Negotiations, and many many more! I find him to be extremely knowledgeable in the field that he's in. Highly recommended, for both business or personal legal services!

Doug handled 2 estate settlements for me during 2013 & 2014, doing an excellent job in a very confusing environment - much of that confusion created by his customer. Doug provided sage legal advice with humor and grace - couldn't ask for better -so maybe we shouldn't kill all the lawyers!

Doug helped us every step of the way while handling a very difficult inter-family real-estate sale. He was available anytime I called, even on holidays. He promptly answered my questions, provided legal documents and provided real-time advice over the phone during negotiations. I was very please with Doug's professionalism, attention to detail and quick response. I highly recommend his services.
