I was very impressed with the way both Gail and Madalyn handled my child custody case. They really showed me they cared and went above and beyond to help me in any way they could. They handled my case with immaculate expertise and professionalism to achieve the result that I had hoped for. They always made sure to keep me in the loop with what the next steps would be and what I needed to do on my end. SAVE YOUR MONEY. RUN AWAY. 1 star is too much! I hired this woman for my sister to get a divorce in February. She charged a retainer of $1950. Having done nothing more than original filing, in April, her one of three assistants in only 6 months sent us an email stating we still had $ 844 left of our retainer. That had to be wrong. Then we got her to file a quitclaim deed which should normally be about 300. Then her new assistant calls wanting another 1950 in addition to the original 1950. When asked, she sent a bill totaling $1139 of which the quitclaim process was only $367.50. Which only at that point bringing our retainer balance down to $811. So how in April could it have been only 844? She could not justify the overage and sent us a bill that supposedly was not complete yet. Who does that? Seems like she was just short on cash flow. So, to continue the divorce which was uncontested, no kids, as simple as it gets, she wanted an extra $1950 to finish it. This is how she gets you. Quote low, then fee it up and hide behind her retainer agreement. In my opinion she is nothing more than a GREEDY THIEF. Do not waste your money, your time, or risk anything important using this attorney. We will be referring this to the State Bar so as hopefully noone else get this treatment. Also, it is peculiar that the good reviews she gets are by supposed clients that strangely only leave positive reviews on everything to the point of looking like advertising. Just 5s and 1s, nothing in between. Strange that all the 1s say the same thing. Wish we had looked closer first. What a nightmare.

One star is too many for Gail Suhr. I do not recommended Gail to anyone who actually is looking for an attorney who will show up as she never once showed up to court for me. She will send her assistant every single time and then still charge her rate! She doesn’t care about you just the profit she will make off you. She took my winning case and made it a losing case within a few short weeks. Anytime I expressed any concern about the way things were going she wanted to make new moves (costly moves) that were not in my best interest. Anytime I spoke on trying to settle out of court with my child’s father she was against it. Racking in more of money. She will lure you in with kind words and false promises. She thrives off making you lose to drag the court proceedings out further to benefit her wallet. After firing Gail as my attorney I went back to having a winning case in a matter of a month. My life was hell after hiring Gail and i’m grateful every single day I found myself someone who showed up and fought for me unlike her!

Horrible experience. My daughter called the office to figure out how to pay the retainer as they sent no contract nor invoice. Gail essentially ripped her up one side and down the other because it was not yet paid and shamed her because the "link" to sign a contract expired and she had to request a new one. Nowhere on the link was a place to input payment. I never imagined a family attorney could be so cold to a single mom. I think she realized Allegheny County was the big leagues and couldn't handle the case and this was the way out.

Hands down an absolutely amazing attorney and human being! She did more for me in the first 24hrs in my divorce than my previous attorney did in 15mths! I had given up hope of finding another attorney who I felt comfortable with and would fight for me! She is truly worth her weight in gold! I highly recommend Gail! ❤️
