Sonia Wise is an incredible lawyer. She will fight for your and she wins cases. I consulted with other lawyers who said that Dauphin County CYS will basically roll you and you can't win. Sonia fought for me. Her knowledge of the law and ability to litigate was key to her victory. Because of Sonia's efforts, my kids (5 1/2 and 3 still have their daddy!).

Beacon law was my saving grace in a time that I felt helpless. They helped me obtain primary custody of my daughter. I had Alina and Cindy by my side from October to April and within that time frame we were able to build a strong case against the other party. Alina always supported me in several different ways—she would even advise me on EXACTLY what to do or say in situations. I never had to wait long for a response and if Alina wasn't there, Cindy, her paralegal would help me to the best of her ability. Cindy is very knowledgable and helped tremendously! I made countless calls to Cindy and she was always willing to listen, always gave great advice and always treated my case as if it were her own. Alina and Cindy are not just there to be your friend or “yes” lawyer, and will tell you when you need to change something you are doing to better support your case. They will tell you when things are wrong and how to fix it, and I recommend listening to all and any advice they give, even when it is not easy! Beacon Law is amazing. They took my child support case even though Attorney Dusharm was on vacation, she still took my case! She wanted to help me and she worked so hard and only had 2 days before court. She gathered everything about my case and had a stack of papers at court. I was amazed at how she did all of that without ever meeting or talking to me. I only talked to the paralegal Michelle because Attorney Dusharm was on vacation. Michelle was so good at relaying everything I said to Attorney Dusharm. I am so impressed with this law firm. The attention to detail they have is outstanding. I could not have asked for better representation and recommend this firm. I was faced with a custody battle with CYS over my grandchildren. From the beginning Alina explained my options and costs associated. There was no confusion as to what exactly I was paying for. She made sure my voice was heard in court and after a long year was finally able to obtain custody with the adoption finalized 6 months later.
