Very helpful in working out our problem

Alina and Cindy helped me out with my custody case and I’m very satisfied with the results. They worked very hard and they was there every time I needed an answer or had a question. They explained step by step what was happening in the the case and what needed to be done. They are good at their job and are very professional at what they do. I appreciate everything they did for me and my family and I want to thank both of them for taking my case in the last minute.

I love this small place. Chris did a fine job at getting our will done. Very detailed with the will, took his time to make sure all was fine, very nice to speak with by phone, and the price on both our wills where wonderful. My experience with Beacon Law has been excellent. From my first conversation with Cindy, our situation was handled professionally and swiftly. Everything was explained to my satisfaction. My calls and texts were handled in a timely fashion. I did not have to worry about when my questions and concerns would be addressed. The staff was courteous, friendly and very well prepared. I am so pleased with the service that I received and will use Beacon Law again if a need arises.

Absolutely horrific representation. My friend who has suffered a lifetime of domestic abuse hired her for custody. Her children were also being devastatingly abused and neglected. I was with my friend on her initial consult with Alina. Alina did not fight for them nor their rights, instead she handed over their case to opposing counsel on a silver platter. Provided absolutely no defense and advised her to bend over and take it conceding to their every demand. My friend lost custody of her children after Alina’s representation at trial (or lack there of) and her case has been detrimental to their lives since as it’s been impossible for her to correct Alina’s mistakes. All the evidence of abuse and neglect Alina did not submit at trial as exhibits therefore they can never be legally used in future hearings due to res judicata according to the judge so my friend has lost any ability to prove the history of abuse. Alina only submitted a few exhibits at trial (less than 15) which were mostly text messages between the parents, which provided no solid evidence for appeal nor enough evidence to properly win a trial. She neglected to include any of the evidence of abuse and acting out of the children that my friend provided her from the school and other caretakers at trial. Alina also failed to subpoena witnesses at an emergency hearing prior to the custody trial where the children disclosed horrific ongoing sexual abuse. My friend had to beg her to file that hearing when her children disclosed abuse and Alina tried talking her out of it because Cindy her paralegal was on vacation. My friend called me during her lunch break from work about to puke due to all the horror and I encouraged her to go to Alina’s office in person and beg her to file the emergency hearing and take no for an answer. Alina finally filed the emergency hearing and told my friend prior to that hearing she was going to subpoena the police officer and school director who had reports of the detailed disclosures of sexual abuse and acting out, then the morning of the emergency hearing she told my friend she had failed to subpoena those parties. When the judge asked to look at the evidence and emails the school was sending to her detailing the sexual acting out, Alina was not prepared and had no print outs of the evidence from the school. My friend brought 4 copies of the emails as she could sense Alina just didn’t seem to care, wasn’t listening to my friend and most likely would not be prepared. When Alina lost her case at trial she also refused to appeal when my friend begged her as she continued receiving reports from school about her children’s sexual acting out. She showed Alina a 16 page journal kept by the school teachers the month after trial of sexual acting out behaviors of her three year old and Alina told her no, she would not appeal. Alina also told her when I was with her at consult “that was her favorite judge,”. Why would she want to upset her favorite judge by appealing her egregious order? She and her children have been further harmed and dragged to family court proceedings constantly the past three years by her abusive ex as her abuser tries non stop to gain full custody. Since Alina did such a poor job laying the foundation at her first trial she has been in a losing battle since and her ex uses the court to continue his power and control over her and her children. The legal abuse that Alina poorly defended against has cost my friend over $270,000 in legal fees and expenses these past three years to combat against her exes continuous false claims since Alina last represented her. She has lost everything. My friend felt like Alina and her paralegal Cindy didn’t listen, and didn’t believe her so they didn’t fight for her and her children. Her awful representation made absolutely no sense. I watch the damage that has been done to her children and I watch her suffer daily. She is a dear friend of mine and their lives should have never been destroyed like this. I would never ever recommend this Attorney to anyone.
