John Benson has been great. The thing is I emailed a list of (9) legal issues of various nature in which I needed sound legal advice. Certainly wasn't expecting to cover all (9) issues & was willing to pay to retain his firm's services. In my email I asked, how much time would we have so we could prioritize? No response. Even though he gave me 30 minutes pro bono a 2nd time, he never received my email. When money isn't tight, will try again to retain his firm's services for the remainder of my misc. ongoing issues. Want to have a lawyer on retainer at all times to prevent from continuing to get screwed. Right now, it's wait & see & call if a Sheriff drops off a lawsuit. Rather unsettling. Wanted to prevent that possibility. Learned a lot the hard way & know if I had a competent lawyer on retainer the past (5) years, I'd be a multi-millionaire now, not eking by w/ $300 left in my checking account for being naïve. Still intend to use John Benson's firm to handle all & any possible upcoming legal issues. Need to address some other stuff that just popped up first.

I worked with John Benson to create a will and family trust in 2019. He explained the options and pros/cons of the different ways of going about it and the things I could do myself to save money or that he could do for an additional fee. He made the whole process very straightforward and streamlined. Unlike the stereotype of a law office he was very flexible and upfront about pricing and what I could expect at the end.
