This office is a deplorable legal practice that employs individuals who do not care how you make your payment, only that you are able to make your payment. I called originally to discuss the collection that my university sent to these law offices, after three years of choosing to contact me exclusively through my university provided account. After explaining the scenario, the attorney I spoke with, Bryan Schultz, treated me with disrespect and was quick to point out that I had accessed my account in early 2015; insinuating that I must've known about the debt. Conveniently, this was the time in which i was completing my withdraw from the Master's program I was enrolled in - for medical reasons nonetheless. I digress to my original point. These individuals treat the debtors like criminals and chose only to speak to them in demeaning and derogatory manner. The goal, I assume, is to work you up enough so that if you chose not to make payments - they have enough derogatory recordings to submit as exhibits during the lawsuit. When I called to establish my payment plan, I was immediately met with disdain and demeaning attitudes. I asked the individual on the other line to confirm the case file she was working on, and she repeated my address. This was not my case file. I again asked her to verify the case file number, she again read back my address and said "why would we have another file for that address?". The remainder of the call proceeded in this fashion, and at one point she tried to persuade me to make a payment immediately, despite the fact that the letter I received from their offices indicated a November 30th date for initial payment. I expressed that I did not intent to make payments on the day I called to establish the plan, and was again met with passive aggressive tones regarding me not being able to make payment. I do not condone the action of these offices. I do not condone the actions of Drexel University or any of their representatives. These offices are debt collecting mobsters who will do anything and everything to collect their money. My recommendation to you is to keep your mouth shut, keep the communication with them to a minimum, and if you have any questions about the practices they employ to hire a lawyer to help defend yourself against individuals like this. Even as a debtor, you have specific rights in regards to the collection of a debt and do not have to tolerate such unethical and abusive tactics.

Not sure why J. Scott Watson is listed as a "personal injury" attorney. They inflict personal injury through their abusive tactics, but they don't help people recovering from injury by any means. Here is what they do: They are paid by Universities to collect student loan debt. Their ethos is to collect that debt by any means necessary so that adopt mob-like practices that are supported legally. They wipe out your bank accounts. They seize your homes and your cars. They work with another debt collector called CRS that will call you non-stop and also harass you. They use legal loopholes to devastate your life and the University you attended pays them to do so. If you get any notification from CRS (Collection Recovery Services, Inc. ) or J. Scott Watson, get an attorney immediately.
