Scott Ruth shows a never ending commitment to his clients. Scott is unrelenting, exhibits exceptional knowledge of the law and is very detail-oriented. These traits are invaluable in going through a divorce. He can be intense at times, but it's because he is invested. You will appreciate this quality in the end. His paralegal, Angie, is also impressively knowledgeable, very organized, handles stress like a pro and is very compassionate. I felt they were genuinely invested in helping me to get through this and to get what I was entitled to. Scott Ruth found a hidden almost $10,000. that my ex took and Art Beckers group had had my case for about a year prior and they never caught it. There's where attention to detail is a plus! Thankfully I haven’t needed an attorney up until recently but I’m so thankful that I was referred to Scott. Scott and Angela have been so amazing through this entire process. Scott is one of the best divorce lawyers you're going to find, or lawyer in general, retained him a few years ago with a divorce that was going nowhere ,for no reason, he made it come to a conclusion and got it over with, and didn't cost an arm and a leg. His wife Angie was the paralegal that worked with him ,And between the two they are just a great ,great team, great people to deal with, and made a very hard time in my life a lot better, thank you, Scott and Angie. I had a very negative experience with another Lawyer Group in the Hanover area, all they wanted was money. Every time I had a question, I was told to pay another $200 if I wanted them to answer. Not knowing what to do, I did a google search and came upon Scott Ruth. Best decision that I've ever made. Scott and Angie were so nice, they both took time with me, they answered all of my questions and helped me through a very terrible situation. Scott is very knowledgeable, he explained everything in terms that I could understand. He drew diagrams and made copies for me to take home. I would recommend Scott to all of my friends and family.

Does anyone know if he does free consultations? For child support cases

I met with Scott on a consult for an appeal my support order. Scott did not let me get an word in at all. He was clearly agitated, and when I tried to get a word in edgewise he said I needed to “learn to read,” and was an “idiot.” When I then started to cry because this abuse is triggering for me after my nasty divorce, he threw me out of his office. He offered nothing constructive at all. If he didn’t want to take the case a professional would have said something like, “ the current order is the best I think you can hope for,” or there is no cause of action in your complaint.” A professional does not call people names and treat them as I was treated.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I can’t give enough stars! I came to Scott with a very high conflict custody case. I was so emotional, high anxiety, all the above. after sitting down with Scott he explained EVERYTHING in detail to me. The pros and the cons, what to expect, what not to expect, how to manage myself in court. He has educated me in more ways than I could ever imagine. Scott and Angela took time out of their weekend to sit one on one with me. There were times where he was tough on me and I didn’t like what he had to say but in a high conflict custody case you need that, it helped me see things different. This office fought for me more than ANY attorney. Scott Ruth is the attorney you want. He is worth every penny and more. As for angela, she is one of god’s angels. I would not be who I am right now if it wasn’t for her. I would not have turned the dynamic of the case and have such a GREAT co parenting relationship now if it wasn’t for her. She has taught me to be a better person. She taught me It’s not about winning a case but growing with Situations. There isn’t enough words to describe angela. We have laughed, cried, and times I didn’t like what she had to say. But honest was what I needed. She truly is the greatest blessing of all! Highly highly recommend this office. Literally the WORST attorney I've ever spoken with! Refused to talk to me, refused to answer questions on how much is the retainer, or do you charge for a consultation. The woman answering the phone was RUDE and again refused my calls and my case without even hearing it. It's so SAD that a mother is calling you hysterical and desperate for legal representation and you refuse to even take the call. Disgusting how people are treated nowadays, there's no compassion!
