Melanie Scaringi and her staff helped me through very complicated estate matters. They always made me feel like I had the best information to make the decision that was right for my situation. I had been battling the State (Pa) for over 2 years over what my legal residence was for the last 2 months of 2014. The State was convinced, and ready to take an action, that I owed them state tax on $500k of income. When I knew that their inquiry was going to turn into a case I retained Scaringi. After some forensic work on me and my documentation, Scaringi presented the facts to the State in such a way that the State withdrew and closed the case in my favor.
