The service I received was not worth any where near the amount I had to pay. Throughout my case I sent about 7-10 emails and did not receive a response to one. (I sent that many emails because it was the easiest mode of communication since I was stationed Overseas and there was a time difference) I had to constantly call and at times would be promised a call back and did not receive anything in return. If it is this difficult to receive communication with your lawyer and you are constantly trying to get a hold of him then what’s the point of paying for one. Furthermore, during my ART 15 rebuttal the lawyers at crisp and associates were extremely late sending emails to the references I had sent them (3 days before the rebuttal was due) and I felt that my packet could have been stronger if not for this mishap. Overall, the packet that was built was lackluster. I was promised that they would write me a document arguing for leniency and I did receive that. Lastly, I was told that they would look into the local policy for my incident so that they could build a better defense. I NEVER got any material in return. Overall, I am not happy with the communication nor attention to detail I should have received for my case. If you are facing an ART 15 or a GOMAR I HIGHLY recommend on not using Crisp and Associates. My money was WASTED and I was not helped during my case.

Can’t speak for all the attorneys but my experience with this law firm was not worth the incredulous amount of money payed up front for representation. If your stationed overseas, good luck getting timely updates or information about your case/situation. At the very least, a proactive lawyer from this law firm would’ve been enough to justify the costs for representation, but I felt the overall sense that I wasn’t a priority or cared for by my attorney who was supposed to be my representation. Good luck getting a email response back if you do decide to pay your hard earned money here, and prepare to wait months for very little information to help you overcome the ambiguity of your legal matter.

Unsatisfied with the communication provided by this office. Very hard to get a hold of, almost never received updates on the case. Johnathan Crisp showed little to no interest in my case, even expressing his desire to finish it all together as soon as possible. He never discussed appellate options with me after the case concluded.

Very disappointed in Crisp and his associates. After I started some work with them a couple years ago and paid and had to get a refund of some of the money due to a family emergency I tried to restart case and was told a fee the same as before and they had already done work on it I paid. I was given the oh yeah we got a Veterans Day discount coming up deal. They are not out to help just another money hungry Law Firm pretending to be the good guy as a Veteran that has gone through many struggles after service I really thought these guys where there to help.

Great experience during a not great situation

I have have gone through Crisp and Associates two times, and my experience with them has unfortunately not been the best. The main draw back is lack of communication I have been reaching out to my lawyer, his staff, and the front desk for 6 months trying to receive a refunded $4,000 retainer credit that was never used. I have been reassured that the check would come in the mail after every phone call, while the staff is genuine there is no accountability and I believe I could have received the same if not better work from any other law firm.

Crisp & Associates was always extremely professional to me, and I would highly recommend them. I was skeptical at paying as much as they charged me at first, because I was worried I would pay a bunch of money only to have my case lost and be out a few thousand dollars, but Donald Gordan reassured me that he would give it his best shot, and he made a very strong case. I called them and emailed them constantly, and they always took my calls and replied to my emails in a timely manner. High respect for this firm, they are great.

Crisp ans Associates took my case with the upmost care and attention. I received a very favorable resolution and upgrade of Discharge. My Biggest Thanks to this Law Firm.
