Review of Jeremy Snyder:
When I think of what a defense lawyer should be, my thoughts turn to Jeremy Snyder. I had the unfortunate necessity to need to utilize a defense attorney but, Jeremy was the perfect fit.
He was efficient, thoughtful, capable, knowledgable, and above all he treated me like a human. During the whole process he believed and behaved like I was innocent until proven guilty which, is something to say within the military culture. I felt as if I was not just another unfortunate soul caught in the giant military court-martial system when it came to his handling of my case.
I highly recommend utilizing Jeremy as your counsel for the above mentioned reasons and because he is the absolute right man for the job.

Jeremy Snyder represented me two years ago. He took up my case after I had chosen to seek new representation, and his confidence after reviewing my case convinced me to withdraw my original request made by my previous attorney for a discharge in lieu of court martial. He forcefully argued my innocence after putting on evidence at my preliminary hearing, destroying the credibility of the AFOSI agent leading the investigation on the witness stand in the courtroom. This led to a full dismissal of all charges and the restoration of my reputation and career. I am currently still serving in Active Duty and have since promoted. I can’t ever thank him enough for all the help he provided me and highly recommend his services to anyone who might need it!

I had full confidence that he would go above and beyond to get the best possible outcome and that's why I would recommend him to any other military members that would require legal counsel.

Crisp and Associates is the most professional and skilled form out there. Jeremy Snyder’s expert legal counsel was key in reaching the best possible outcome for my recent separation board. He was prompt and completely supportive through the whole process, being able to adapt and work with my schedule overseas and I can’t thank him enough for all the work he, Mr. Crisp, as well as Ariana and Terry have done!

My attorney was Owen Hoover with CRISP and associates. Just from the consultation that i had with Owen, I knew he was going to be my lawyer. He was knowledgeable, considerate and professional. Owen consistently met and exceeded my expectations throughout my case. He did not push me for specific decisions, only gave me his opinions and experiences so that i could make the best ones for my case. All fees were clearly explained to me upfront and i appreciated that. I went to an Administrative Separation Board and during the proceedings Owen was alert and called all balls and strikes. My results were 3/0 no misconduct! Thank you Owen Hoover. I recommend CRISP and associates to anyone who needs knowledgeable and effective legal representation.

I really appreciate the help that I received from Crisp and Associates. I had other lawyers work on my case prior to Kathryn Freiburger to no avail. Crisp and Associates provided me with hope and the desired outcome for a fraction of the price as the competing law firm. Kathryn was extremely professional and flexible with my schedule. She handled the courtroom with tact and diplomacy. I would highly recommend Crisp and Associates, more specifically Kathryn Freiburger to anyone.

Our son, a 19 year old Air Force Airman received an Article 15 for a single incidence of drug use and was informed that he was going to be separated from the USAF but was entitled to appeal the decision but only had 3 days to do so. He was told his chances of winning were slim. We were willing to do anything necessary to prevent that outcome. Time was of the essence. We had a phone consultation with Jonathon Crisp on the evening of 5/12/20. He listened to the case against our son and did admit that it was going to be an uphill battle. We had to try. For $3500 Mr. Crisp told us that he would phone the base commander in the morning and ask for an extension. He also asked us to compile a list of people that knew our son and would be willing to write character references for him. Mr. Crisp told us good character references would personalize our son as someone the USAF would want to keep in their ranks. At this point we agreed to hire Mr. Crisp. to represent our son for $3500.
As a result of our hasty decision we made two mistakes. We didn’t ask what type of representation we should expect for that fee of $3500 and we didn’t get assurances that Mr. Crisp would personally represent our son. In all honesty I did sign the fee agreement that stated the firm reserves the right to substitute one attorney for another for any reason. Within two hours of that consultation we paid the $3500 fee and sent a list of people that would provide solid references for our son.
We heard nothing from Crisp and Associates the next day. The day after that Thursday 5/14/20 I contacted a paralegal at the firm and asked why none of our references had been contacted. The paralegal told us that another attorney, Kathryn Freiburger, had taken charge of our sons case and that she did things a little differently and wouldn’t be reaching out to anyone on our list for references. We were both upset after hearing this. My wife then phoned attorney Freiburger to ask about getting those character references. At this point attorney Freiburger relented and agreed to contact the people on our list. Had my wife not called we would have been left believing that they would have reached out to our contacts in time. The fact is they wouldn’t have. From that point on Thursday 5/14/20 we didn’t hear another word from anyone at Crisp and Associates until attorney Freiburger emailed the administrative separation rebuttal that was submitted on behalf of my son. That rebuttal was 7 short paragraphs, 5764 characters including the date at the top. For reference this review is 3914 characters. No one at the firm picked up the phone and spoke to my son, my wife, or me.
Our son lost his appeal and is now separated from the USAF. Mr. Crisp did indeed tell us it would be an uphill battle. It was very apparent to us that attorney Freiburger did the absolute minimum amount of work for that $3500 fee and didn’t “battle” at all for our son. We found her demeanor to be detached and impersonal.
When my son got word his appeal was denied he called Ms. Freiburger and told her. He asked her what could be done to have his discharge classification upgraded to an honorable discharge from a general discharge under honorable conditions. Ms. Freiburger told my son it would be difficult and there would only be a 50/50 chance of success. No one at Crisp and Associates called me or my wife. My wife did call Ms. Freiburger to ask about changing my sons discharge classification. Attorney Freiburger told my wife that because they were familiar with my son’s case that they would forego their normal $3500 fee and represent him for $3000. Well they already got their pound of flesh. Fool me once……..
Would I have left this review had our son won his appeal? Probably not. Truthfully I wouldn’t have left this review, despite losing, had we known that Mr. Crisp and Ms. Freiburger actually cared about our son and our family.

I'm very grateful for Mr.Grabill and the Crisp firm, their attention to detail and thorough efforts have provided me and my family relief. As Adam and his team manage to upgrade my Other than Honorable discharge to a General Discharge, after 4 1/2 years of service I did not think my discharge stood a chance of being changed but with the help of Crisp & Associates, we were able to successfully change that narrative.Thank you
