I came to Scott after a LegalShield referral, and while he initially seemed confident and caring, it quickly became clear that he overpromised and underdelivered. He assured me my “coffee cup” marriage with “no real assets” would be an easy case, even claiming his 25+ years of experience and familiarity with opposing counsel would make the process smooth. Unfortunately, none of this held true. Communication was almost non-existent. I had to constantly chase down updates, and emails or calls were often ignored. When I did get a response, it felt like I was the one driving the case, constantly repeating details or providing new information because no one seemed to track my file properly. After several months of zero progress, I had no choice but to fire Scott and find another attorney (also through LegalShield, but thankfully a much better experience). Despite paying a significant amount, I was left with minimal work done—most of which I had prepared myself in Excel, only for it to be scribbled over on paper. I’m aware that others may have had good experiences, but mine was incredibly frustrating and costly. Both can be true, but I cannot recommend Scott based on my experience. This version keeps your review professional, structured, and clear while effectively detailing your negative experience.

Cant say enough good things about Scott, Val and Daryl who have handled everything from business contract structure, disputes, overall legal advice, trademark filing and intellectual property discussions. They are 100% trusted and I highly recommend anyone that is considering hiring that you are making the right decision.

This firm was recommended from a friend for an accident my daughter was involved in. My daughter was rear ended by another car and being that my daughter only had limited tort insurance even though she was not at fault and the driver the hit her had full coverage, Valerie Williams would not take the case. We ended up going to MORGAN & MORGAN and they took the case with no problem whatsoever and is getting my daughter the settlement that she rightfully deserves.

My husband and I came to Mr.Keller for help with an investigation, he appeared to very caring, and said they he could help us, we signed the contract. We expect at least decent communication. Instead, we are met with constant silence and had to chase them down for updates every single time. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for weeks. When we did manage to get a response or a call back, we were the ones providing new information every time. On top of feeling completely ignored, every time we call we have to keep explaining every detail of who we are as if they have no records. We are in the exact same place as we were back in November 😔

I wish I could give zero stars. Hiring Scott Lisgar for my child custody case was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. First, they charge outrageously high fees but completely fail to deliver on even the most basic aspects of service. For the amount of money I paid, I expected at least decent communication. Instead, I was met with constant silence and had to chase them down for updates every single time. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for days or even weeks. When I did manage to get a response, it was short, dismissive, and lacked any useful information. In such a stressful and sensitive situation, the last thing you need is to feel ignored by the person who is supposed to be advocating for you and your child. It’s clear they care more about collecting fees than actually helping their clients. I deeply regret hiring Scott Lisgar and would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration, heartache, and money.
