Jessica was our lawyer to assist us with my husband adopting my daughter. There were many unknowns that she helped us to understand and to work through. She got things done efficiently and was kind and helpful with our situation. We couldn't be happier with how the process was handled and our successful outcome.

Getting divorced is overwhelming- I had no idea where to start, what I needed in order to protect my best interests as well as my son's, how the process worked, what to expect, etc. Thankfully, I hired Jessica as an attorney and she put my mind at ease from our first meeting. She explained everything I needed to know, handling all filings and communication both timely and professionally, and most importantly, became a trusted advisor throughout the process. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of PA law, and I've observed her to be well respected amongst her peers. I felt she was very mindful of expenses, kept me well informed, and always looked out for my best interests while being fair and respectful regarding my ex-husband, which allowed for an overall smooth, non-contentious experience we both wanted. We hired Jessica Lowe (Smith) from JSDC Law Offices for a divorce/child custody case. Jessica handled our case very unprofessionally. She spoke to the other parties attorney and offered and accepted negotiations without first consulting with us and billed us for time that was not spent. We allowed her many opportunities to right her wrongs with no such luck. After about 3 years we ultimately ended up hiring another attorney because Jessica was not working for us and rather we felt she was only looking out for herself and wanted to spend no time doing what was right. Jessica decided to withdraw from our case and did not feel like defending us, when another lawyer stepped right up to the plate and did so immediately. If you are looking for an attorney that will fight for you and your rights, Iwould steer very clear!
