Cons
1
The lawyer may not always fight for the client's best interests or pursue justice, instead prioritizing quick resolutions or financial gain
“She took our money, knew how someone innocent was being railroaded and played ball with the cop . I was told I should be happy to have no points and just a fine . She felt I should have been grateful to have only been tyranized just a little, when in fact , how it all played out made me feel worse..I'd rather of fought & lost than to have never pushed for what was right!. She failed to care about actual Justice the ONLY reason her services were obtained. Instead made a quick buck.”
2
The lawyer may not communicate effectively with the client or return their calls
“My son has been incarcerated for over 8 months and his case keeps getting continued and there is no one to talk to. I think he has too much on his plate and my son has to suffer.”
3
The lawyer may be unprofessional in their appearance and demeanor, and not properly prepared for court hearings
“She showed up to court late dressed very unprofessional in what looked like dirty wrinkled clothes. She did not remember anything about my case and did not file a single motion that she said she would.”
4
The lawyer may take the client's money and then not provide the promised services or representation
“Made sure he was paid, took over 2 years took months to file for any motions and yet he screws me over yeah don't hire this guy. Illegal search and seizure violation of my 4th amendment couldn't even get my charge tossed. What a joke!”
5
The lawyer may be unresponsive and fail to communicate with the client after receiving payment
“We paid him 800$ he cashed our check and never showed up to any court hearings. The court called and called him on the day of hearings to no response. Now he will not answer the phone for us after calling for weeks. Unbelievable!! Want a refund!!”
