My grandfather has been attempting to finalize his divorce for several years without success. Despite working with Michael Filia since 2018, the matter remains unresolved, causing significant delays and negatively impacting his ability to access veteran's benefits for assisted living.
Filia accepted payment, his ex wife signed the paperwork" in February of this year and it is now November. They almost never answer the phone, and if his secretary does Michael is almost never available. Based on this experience, I strongly advise against working with Michael Filia.

Attorney Filia took time to answer all of our questions about the hearing process and told us what to expect. After our hearing he explained everything and made sure we understood everything the judge said. We highly recommend Attorney Filia and would go to him again but hopefully we won't have too!

Very knowledgeable and helpful with complicated custody cases. I felt helpless in my past experiences with other custody attorneys. Michael Fila is genuine and seems to actually care and be proactive in helping with your case. Reasonable rates and does not feel like you are being nickel and dimed for everything.

Terrible lawyer my case was a easy case and i lost so much because of him i would recommend a different lawyer he also made me miss work so many times and some of the times it was for no reason and it was also a far drive to he wouldn't answer his phone ever he wasn't even there when the judge called me up and the judge had to skip my trial until he was there didn't talk about my case much until the last second to
