If in the event you are in need of a family law attorney, I highly recommend Michael Filia. When I first spoke with Mr. Filia, he took the time to really listen to my family’s situation, the concerns we had, and the outcome we were hoping for at the end of this. He thoroughly explained the process, was completely transparent, and gave us realistic expectations of what the outcome could be. Mr. Filia understood this was an emotional process for myself and my family, but his calm and empathetic demeanor was very reassuring. Everything started out good, I was confident he would get the job done for me but then he stopped returning phone calls, texts and emails. I’ve paid him the amount he requested and he’s failing to do his job. I’m left to find another attorney to represent me. I definitely would NOT recommend him.
