My wife and I became caregivers for my paralyzed brother and we had a lot of questions regarding management of his assets. I made an appointment, had a meeting with Attorney Appleyard in which I went into great detail of my brother's circumstances, and a few weeks later we had a care contract in place; she even came to our house to explain everything to my brother during the signing process. After the passing of my sister and my parent health declining we needed to revise their estate plan. I was recommended to Keystone Elder Law by a good friend. After speaking with Karen on the phone and scheduling a meeting to discuss our thoughts and concerns I felt much comfort in knowing we were on the right path. During our meeting with Patrick our questions were answered, good advice, and direction was provided to establish the framework for my parent estate plan. During the process my father’s health required him to transition into an assisted living community. Patrick and the whole team at Keystone Elder Law adjusted the estate plan even during final signing of documents without hesitation. I cannot thank them enough for all the assistance with my parents Estate Plan. In addition my father-in-law also had to be placed in a skilled nursing facility and once again Patrick and his staff has assisted with all my father-in-laws finally estate planning. After previously calling a law firm that seemed like they couldn't hang up the phone fast enough, I called this place this morning (6/1). The lady that answered was extremely friendly and helpful. As I had questions about a will of a recently deceased family member, she atleast had the decency to answer what questions she could to help me out. The other firm was so far beyond rude, it was ridiculous. If I need any further assistance, I will definitely call this firm back. Thank you!!

I can't say enough about Patrick Cawley and Karen Kazlow as they helped me maneuver legal and financial difficulties over the past 6 months. I initially contacted them in order shelter my assets in the event that my husband needed medicaid. However, it turned out to be so much more than that as they helped me know what my rights and responsibilites were as Health Care Agent for my husband as he became seriously ill with sepcis and multi system organ failure. When each new issue came up. they supported me with citing the laws that I could rely on to help my husband pass away on his terms. I will be forever grateful to them.
