I have retained the services of Halligan and Keaton twice now. Selaine Keaton drew up Wills and Living Wills for my husband and I several years ago, so when both my parents passed in 2020, I called Selaine and asked her to handle my parents’ estate. She very kindly guided me through the process and filed all documents in a timely fashion. In addition, she was very quick to respond to my many emails and phone calls. I highly recommend Selaine Keaton, Esquire.

I've contacted the office back at the end of January. On January 28th they requested documentation and just today 2/9/2022 I was told " oh the lawyer is too busy for your case. After damn near two weeks of waiting to hear something, as if my case was being looked into- I find this unprofessional and rude. They could've told me sooner, instead of stringing me along for almost two weeks.

It was a pleasure working with the law office of Halligan & Keaton. My husband and I first met Bill Halligan when we set up our wills many years ago. Bill was so helpful and knowledgeable and the whole process was a positive experience for us. I turned to him again when my mother needed to create her will. She was so nervous having never written a will before. Bill was so kind and compassionate and calmed all her fears. Bill also helped me with setting up a Special Needs Trust and Power of Attorney for my brother. Sadly, my mother passed away 3 years later but it was a blessing everything was in place beforehand. The filing and probating of the will went smoothly. Selaine Keaton guided us through every step in settling my mother’s estate. She is very knowledgeable and the entire process was handled promptly and professionally. Selaine was so caring, and very patient answering many questions from me. I contacted Ms. Keaton's office after reading reviews of Estate lawyers in the area. All the reviews were pleasant and since I was apprehensive about the entire process, I felt assured contacting her. Ms. Keaton was there through every single step of this process, answered all my questions and generally made me feel at ease about going through this. It's never an easy feat to have to disperse your loved one's assets but with her help, it was effortless. I would recommend her time and time again as it is very apparent that her and her staff generally care about you and your family. I never felt an ounce of stress during what I assumed would be a stressful ordeal!

My father had passed away unexpectedly and Selaine was willing and able to quickly provide necessary perspective and recommended next steps to ensure the end to end process went smoothly. She recommended an excellent accountant to help us prepare for handling estate taxes. We also followed up with her for Will and POA documents which were handled quickly and professionally.
