I have had the good fortune of working with Mr Schmidt's office for over two decades as a practicing chiropractic neurologist who treats worker's compensation patients. The most recent settlement was particularly noteworthy difficult because the injury was difficult to document and had ALREADY been decided upon by a, then W/Comp Referee. With only a few days remaining before the initial decision would have been finalized, Mr Schmidt reopened the case and fought for several years and had to work with many doctors. A specialized MRI had to be taken to vosualize a small soft tissue structure in the top most part of the neck that was related to the accident and ongoing symptoms. I was the fortunate recipient of the favorable decision since I was the first treating doctor after the first over-ridden decision was handed-down. The Pennsylvania State Compensation Fund paid all but a relatively small amount in spite of the judges favorable decision which included the allowance of continued care and for all of the bills to be paid. Mr Schmidt willingly and promptly initiated an action to the balance of the unpaid charges. I am confident of its outcome.
