They were very pleasant and helpful

I went to Leigh Ann Orton for legal advice during a particularly difficult period in my life. Not only was she very professional, but sympathetic and took a personal approach towards me. There was never a time when she didn’t keep me up-to-date with my legal situation. I highly recommend Orton & Orton for any legal need you may have. You won’t be disappointed!

Worst experience. Hired Stephen srnka for a modification of custody. He did nothing insisted doing everything by E-mail never able to meet up.. no real knowledge of custody modification laws called to talk to the Orton's told them of atty srnka that he did nothing. Never spoke up against anything. Honestly I don't think an you one in that firm could handle much more than maybe a simple closing. Leigh Anne and Chris both totally shrugged my complaint off. That firm robbed us blind. Did nothing for my case.

Terrible and unprofessional. I was referred to this firm by a lawyer friend who works with Chris, so I expected a smooth process. I had a scheduled phone conference with Chris on a particular day/time. I called exactly on time and was told Chris was in a meeting (even though I had one scheduled). The receptionist wanted me to call back in an hour to see if he was available then?? I told him to call me when he's done with the meeting. Four days go by, and still no call back. I call again - Chris is in another meeting. Again, she wants me to call back to check to see if he's available. I said no, and for him to call me back. This went on three times! They never called back and obviously did not want my business. I strongly do not recommend Orton and Orton. Terrible experience before we even got started - can't imagine how the rest of the process would have gone... or not gone.

I have used both Atty Chris Orton and Atty Leigh Ann Orton for a number of business transactions and they, along with the office staff are always fantastic. Thank you!

Completely and utterly unprofessional. My grandmother passed away and had her will at this office. LeighAnn had told my uncle she needed our addresses because since my father passed (her son) I would be sent a copy of the will. Come to find out that she didn’t? So sloppy work to start. How do you NOT know your job? Did you not look over the paperwork beforehand? I didn’t know any of this for months. I waited for something in the mail and when it didn’t come I decided to call. I called two different times and she never returned my phone call. Finally on the third try I got a hold of her. She told me that everything was left to my uncle and that was that. Skip forward a couple weeks and I guess this “professional” went and told my uncle I was unhappy with the will to the point where he thought I was going to challenge it? I don’t even know what that means let alone was thinking it. She completely lied and caused family issues. What kind of professional does that? Who gets their hands dirty in family issues like that and lies about something so stupid? Don’t recommend at all.
