We reached out to Audrey Allen for filing the I-140 for one of our teachers in late 2020. Initially, the process was excellent. She was extremely responsive and was prompt in getting everything filled and communicating what is to be expected. But things soon went odd the rails afterwards.
When the I-140 was filled, I noticed that she had the application marked as EB-3 with no education when our teacher had her Bachelor’s degree. I asked her about this and she mentioned that it's fine since the processing center we were sending the application to always sends a request for more information and the mistake would be addressed then which is fine for Audrey since she charges extra for the response to the RFI.
We paid for premium processing so we were expecting a response within a few weeks. When the date went past the time we were expecting to hear back, I reached out to her office and the paralegal that I spoke to mentioned that they received the RFI the week previously. I asked her why I did not get a call or email and she mentioned that she had mailed a copy of the RFI to my office. I asked her why was I not notified through a call or email since the RFI is time sensitive, she said she should have done that and I asked her to schedule a call with Audrey for me. I will admit, my tone when talking with the paralegal was not the best and I let my frustrations get to me so I sent her an email later apologizing.
Audrey calls me back later in the day and she starts the conversation by scolding me for calling her office and speaking rudely to her employee. When I asked her about why I did not get a response when her office received the RFI, she said that it's their policy to mail those types of documents and I should have received it next day but the reason why I didn't was because of the issues with the post office in late 2020. She then mentions that I will have to pay on a per hour basis for her responding to the RFI. I brought up that the original I-140 was filled out incorrectly and she counters with something to the tune of find a new attorney if you don't want to pay and then hangs up on me refusing to acknowledge any mistakes.
While she was helping us with the I-140 filing, she was also helping our employee with the adjustment of status paperwork. Interestingly, she decided to end her contract with me stating that all work has been completed while continuing to do the adjustment of status for our employee even though an I-140 approval is necessary to move forward. Audrey ultimately completed the RFI with communication only with our teacher and the I-140 was approved in early 2021.
My interactions with her toward the end made me wish that her profession of Immigration attorneys was not required and how short the US immigration policies fall of actually making immigration to the US possible for normal people She did complete what she was paid to do but her communication when things mattered was abysmal. She was disrespectful and arrogant. I effectively paid thousands of dollars for her to file a form and include the necessary evidence (which I had already and provided it for her) which her team did wrong the first time and to be scolded. -Duc

I scheduled a consult and they had to cancel. I paid for the service and never got back to me. I had to reach out to them several times to get my consult. I did the consult and was supposed to receive emails etc and never got any communication back. I emailed back after a while and no communication back. Bad experience with this office, the lawyer also stated that we were from Mexico right?...and we are not..should have know that if they read the paperwork and especially in this line of work don't they know not to assume? Ask first before you say something maybe?
***edit. In response to companys statement. I sent an email on December 8th asking if any information was needed from me or where we were at since thr last time we talked. Maybe I misunderstood but I believe I was suppose to receive some documents in email after our consult. This is exactly why I reached out on DECEMBER 8th and I even put that I was not sure if I was suppose to contact you and if maybe I was at fault. It is not until I write this poor review almost two months later that I get correspondence from you. So I did reach out after August. I received a personal email in response to my review that did not contain as much information as this review which I find odd. You air out more details about my situation on a public review instead of explaining in the personal email. I believe part of this is a case of miscommunication which just happens sometimes.
