Failed to present evidence or prepare for client's custody hearing, leading to a negative outcome
“Whatever you do! Don't not hire this law firm! My fiancé used him for a custody hearing and he didn't present her evidence nor did he do any prep work for her case. It was 900 for retainer and it was a complete scam!”

Unresponsive and failed to take action on client's cases despite being retained and paid
“I hired Ivan in 2020 for a Landlord Tenant matter/ paid $750 for absolutely nothing I then wanted him to pursue a civil case against my landlord for my security deposit and paid another $750 dollars in January. Since then he has done nothing, I email Melinda every other week for updates and this last time no response. I keep asking when he is filing the complaint with no response, he is always in court or not in office.”

Failed to refund client's money after not fulfilling the agreement
“When asked to refund my money.....he agreed....but on his terms, he said he would refund it "The top of next week" Prior to all this, I was calling and calling the office for three days to see where we stood because the deadline was approaching and never got a call back, just messages saying there's a note in my file. It has been a week and he still hasn't refunded my money. I've emailed and called and once again no response.”
