Engaging Mr. Lento and his team was a wonderful decision for me! As a doctoral student who was 95% complete with my degree, I was falsely and randomly accused of "research misconduct" due to a calculation error in my nearly-completed dissertation. I engaged Mr. Lento upon receiving notification of the allegation, as I knew I was completely innocent of any wrongdoing, but didn't feel knowledgeable enough to defend myself. After a thorough investigation by my university they found no evidence of research misconduct and the allegation was dismissed. Mr. Lento and his team walked me through each step, advised me, and supported me through the investigation process on to the closing of the case. Their firm is "for" students and really understands the importance of advocacy when wading through a situation like this. I would highly recommend the Lento Law Firm to anyone going through something similar.
