I was charged with a felony and two misdemeanor crimes back in October of 2013. I retained Andy to defend me in these matters. He is a very fair, honest and practical lawyer. He immediatley eased my mind into how the case would go through the prelimenary hearing right through the trial. He was always available to talk and quick to respond to my questions even though his busy day. At times, I felt like his only client due to the superior way he communicated and responded. He was very prepared for my case and knew all of the interworkings of the criminal justice system. In the end, he was able to get the truth out in the court room and got me justice with a not guilty verdict. All in all, this is a great man who does great professional work. I will be grateful to him forever for the work he did for me and my family.

The moment I stepped into Andre Gay Jr's office I was met with friendliness, professionalism, and empathy. I have been working with Andrew for about four months, and I am very satisfied with the outcome and his representative of my case. I was hit by a car when I was walking on a pedestrian crossing, and I had my left femur broken, which will take about a year to heal completely. I was introduced to Andrew by my co-worker, and I contacted and asked him for help. He immediately replied and told me that he could help. First, he told me that he would like to visit the hospital where I was staying. I felt he must have some warmth about him even though I had not met him yet. Mr. Gay represented my brother in a criminal case. My brother and I were very satisfied with the outcome. I must say that Mr. Gay is a very caring person, he wasn't to busy to return phone calls or take calls in a timely manner. My family lives in the Lancaster area so when my brother got into legal trouble, I immediately started looking for lawyers in our area to handle his case. Many of the law offices had minimal to no reviews, an "ok looking" web page and not much else. I didn't feel we had time to interview various lawyers (especially since I didn't really know what I was looking for). I've never dealt with the law before and wanted someone immediately in our corner to offer advice and guidance. I called Mr. Gay's office on a Sunday morning, and heard back from him personally that afternoon. When we met in his office, he explained the cost would be higher because of traveling to Lancaster, and the pros and cons of having someone outside of Lancaster represent us. He was very open with communication through the whole process and left nothing to assumption. Even after being asked the same questions several times, his patience and calm demeanor didn't waver. If ever you find yourself in trouble with the law then Mr.Gay is someone that I would highly recommend. I had my first experience being in legal trouble and words can’t explain the shame, guilt and fear that I felt. However, after meeting with Mr.Gay he helped me understand what to expect and the possible outcomes of my legal situation. I shared with him my possible interest in having a public defender represent me and he gave me the pros and cons of the idea, especially because it was in a county other than the one in which I live.
