My name is Shocky Martinez and my brother is Jesus Martinez, Sr. We were born in Honduras and both got adopted in 1988. The adoption went horribly wrong. Do to laws at the time, my brother and I didn't meet the criteria to be naturalized. After bouncing around in the system, on my 18th birthday I was discharged from C&Y, and found out I didn't become a citizen through the adoption. After years of one obstacle to another, I met Chris Casazza. My brother ended up in some unfortunate situations and almost was deported. Chris Casazza heard of my brothers predicament and helped save my brothers life by preventing the deportation. I can't explain every hurdle Chris Casazza and his unbelievable firm went through to save my brother. But I can say, he never gave up on my brother or myself. I prayed so sincerely for someone to please save my brother and my prayers were answered the moment Chris Casazza and his firm came into our lives! After a couple of years, with the odds stacked against my brother, Chris Casazza was triumphant and my brother was able to stay in this country and have a fresh start! This experience prompted me to seek naturalization, after my brother went through what he went through. Chris informed me that he would be there for me, if I needed his help getting naturalized. I myself had some challenges that would make it difficult to receive naturalization. Chris told me one day, "I've gotten people naturalized in your position before." His confidence and expertise, along with the incredible staff at his law firm never gave up on me either. There's so much I haven't said. Personal moments, where I struggled so much! Just know that if you're going through anything similar, Paladino, Isbell & Casazza will never give up on you!!
