Maureen was a godsend to me after my mother's death. She helped me to navigate through the process of probating her will, setting up an estate account, and all of the other necessary paperwork that had to be done. It was a painful time and Maureen made it easier to bear. After mom's estate was settled, I went back to Maureen to make sure that all of my own matters were in order so now I have peace of mind. I consulted with Maureen Farrell on several occasions regarding family wills, elder law and inheritance taxes. I found Maureen to be a true professional in every sense of the word. Her attention to detail, depth and breadth of subject matter knowledge and client attention puts her far ahead of the pack. Her adherence to her professional ethics should be the standard for all to admire and respect. In my nearly forty years as a management consultant, I have found few who matched her level of professionalism.

When my mother died, Maureen helped me to "navigate the waters" to get Mom's estate settled. I would have been lost without her. After Mom's matter was settled, Maureen helped me to get my own affairs in order (something I knew I probably should do but didn't want to think about). Maureen is a sweet, intelligent, caring person and we have remained friends - which is a great thing!

She seems quite kind but was not prepared for our meeting in ways that made it a waste of time for us. She was also oddly unprofessional in her correspondence with us after the meeting, refusing to give us copies of documents for which we had already paid two years before, though we needed them in a hurry, until we had paid her for that meeting which had just taken place and was not related. We had of course planned to and did pay her but were surprised by the withholding of our documents. In general we were frustrated by her lack of preparation and then by the lack of professionalism.

You can always expect Maureen to look out for your best interest. Maureen specializes in being timely and efficient, while always thinking out side the box. Maureen stays well connected to the community which has been a great asset to have.

I have known Maureen for over 15yrs. I find her expertise in the law insightful and value her opinion and friendship. Everyday for Maureen is game day. Maureen brings an energy to her work , not easily matched. I have will continue to recommend her to my friends, family and colleagues.
