From experience, Tom is HIGHLY recommended for high-conflict Family Law cases. Particularly frivolous "Ex Parte PFA's". His criminal defense background mixed with family law is the perfect combination to combat frivolous pfa's and vindictive parents. ESPECIALLY those who have past, a criminal background. We are at sever high risk in the Family Court system and often abused by the flawed system. Tom's criminal defense background utilized in Family Law greatly aide in exposing abusers of the flawed Philadelphia Family Court system. Example, if you want a liar to be exposed beyond ALL doubt then he is your guy. In my opinion, one of the most attractive features of working with Tom is he does not talk to you like an attorney just out to get your money. You keep it straight with him he'll have the best possible plan available. Don't waste your money getting talked down to or having your case dragged out by an attorney who can't see the creator of the conflict. Talk to Tom. Mr. Landis was extremely down to earth and actually had the best price around. I hired him for my preliminary trial and he showed up 4 times for me and never charged me an extra dime. While other lawyers automatically advised me to agree to an ARD program, Mr. Landis was confident the nature of my case was not serious enough and advised me to at least try to let him get it thrown out in the preliminary stage. That is exactly what happened. Hopefully I will never need a lawyer again, but if I do, I will be using his card.
