I was very pleased with the experience I had being represented by Ted Kaplun and his team. I was charged with DWI and careless driving in Camden, New Jersey. My alcohol level reading was a .2 and I was facing a 2nd tier penalty which would have resulted in higher fines. Ted have been very informative and provided the best suggestion on how to proceed with my case. He have also been very patient in handling the case as well. We've been in and out the courtroom throughout the month which was quite annoying. But in the end, Ted was able to talk to the prosecutor and the arresting officer in lowering the charges. As a result, the careless driving charge was dismissed and I was charged with a 1st tier penalty. So instead of a 7 month driving suspension, I am only faced with a 3 month suspension. I acquired a case that I was charged with possession of marijuana, paraphernalia, intent to distribute, and another charge. I posted bail and my family and I were believing I was going to have to serve time. I hired Mr. Jonathan Marx to defend me in the case. I was only 19 years old and was worried about my future and what I could be in my life. I was denied ARD and at first the DA and officer that arrested me weren't being lenient at all and I become very very worried. We followed through with the case and by the grace of God, Mr. Marx was able to get me only possession and paraphernalia. Those were the least of my 4 charges.
