I reached out to the Hon. Bruce Castor, Esq. at Mike's (van der Veen) law firm when my adopted son's family suffered a tragedy by the reckless actions of a few police officers. I specifically recommended Mr. Castor because of our background together. When he was the District Attorney in Montgomery County I worked for him from the late '80s up through his tenure as County commissioner and beyond and found him to be driven and passionate, a bulldog when it came to the administration of justice. One thing about him that I can state after knowing Bruce for 35 years is that he was always fair and impartial when it came to the administration of the Law. Now, as a police officer the last thing one officer wants to do is go against another one, but in this case I knew that the only person that could bring Justice to the family and closure was Mr. Castor because of his strength in the law and his passion to see wrongs made right. As a now retired police department head I can look back over my 40 years as an officer and strongly recommend and endorse Mr. Castor to represent any plaintiff or defendant seeking justice. On a totally objective note in closing, when you have a sitting US President being brought up on impeachment proceedings in the House and Senate and you are asked to defend him against these charges, you know there's something that the attorney asked to save the career of a United States President must possess....and that special someone is Mr. Castor. Attorney K.Caffrey never bother to return my call to communicate to me pertaining to my case. Upon reaching out to her it was clear to me that she had not thoroughly reviewed the documents I submitted to her and was already biased towards a conflict of interest and protection of abuse of power case. This means information on site Is false advertising. She was quick to defend the abusers of power and going as far to say it didn't matter if my constitutional rights and civil rights were violated. I tried to correct her pertaining to the laws and the violations that had occurred but she kept talking over me rudely interrupting me not allowing me to elaborate on my case. She said that what happened to me on that day was all justified and no fraud or bribery or abusive power happen on that day which is simply not the case and is not the truth. She also said this type of abuse does not happen this is not true. Look up Pennsylvania state police involuntary abuse case that happened In August of 2023. The officer was charged with false imprisonment. There many cases like this in the state of Pennsylvania. Look up Pennsylvania man awarded 1.1 Million for Involuntary fraud. For Attorney K. Caffey to say that violating my due process and trampling over my constitutional and civil rights is ok that's not right and it's not ok. I asked to speak with the manager and she was just as rude and had me on hold for 5 minutes and did not allow me to speak which was very rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend this law firm for anybody that has been a victim of abuse of power situation and is looking to get Justice.

This firm is the absolute best! I worked with an attorney Adam Leasure who was terrific! Very knowledgeable,pleasant, and amazing!! I recommend this Law firm to anyone with an issue. You should not go anywhere else. I can't speak highly enough for this firm and it's Attorneys! It was truly a wonderful experience.
