I was in a car accident in May 2023 where I was rear-ended while at a complete stop and the other driver hadn't even hit his brakes I don't believe. It wasn't my intention to immediately seek legal representation, but I was concerned that my back injury might cause problems in the future. I also anticipated having issues with the at-fault party's insurance carrier paying for a rental car for the entire time it was going to take to have my car repaired (2.5 months).
