Kevin helped me avoid a large increase in property taxes in 2024 on my newly purchased home by invoking the CLR for Allegheny County. However, Kevin wasn't very good at keeping appointments to schedule calls and discuss next steps, as he would agree to call at certain times and then never responded. I'm giving this review 3 stars because of that.

Kevin did a fantastic job handling our property tax appeal. I was referred to Kevin by a friend and know they also had a fantastic experience with Kevin. He is trustworthy and you can rest assured Kevin always has your best interests in mind. I would happily use Kevin again if needed.

Kevin was a great help to us in the process of our real estate assessment appeal. From the very beginning he took the time to explain the process and the background of what was happening with our case. He also spent time explaining our results and advice for the future afterwards. His service was of great value to us, and I highly recommend him!

I am a professional man who has a friend who Attny Smith is supposed to be advising! I know my friend very well. Attny Smith is not helping her at all and does not communicate with my friend in a timely fashion and comes up with lame excuses at the same time! I would not use Attny Smith for any legal guidance and my friend should voice major complaints with the ABA!!! In fact her law degree should be rescinded!! Period

There is so much chaos going on in Allegheny County with its property taxes, it's hard to make sense of it. I was unbelievably frustrated when the school district filed a base year appeal against my house, only for the appeal to be dragged out for two years, amidst several court cases going on about the legality of these types of appeals in the first place. Kevin helped save my sanity by making sense of this convoluted process and guiding me through it. I was impressed at how proactive he was at keeping track of developments and keeping me up to date. And his services were covered by a low flat fee. I am thankful he helped me through this process in the way he did.

I had an initial consultation with Kevin regarding an assessment appeal hearing that went very poorly. After I told Kevin I had submitted evidence prior to my assessment hearing he was inflexible and condescending. Rather than politely explaining why he was no longer able to help me because his firm takes an absolute position on their approach to these cases, he proceeded to lecture me about the ramifications of submitting evidence before a hearing. He acknowledged that other law firms will send evidence prior to these hearings which suggests that my reasonable action in following the instructions provided by the BPAAR in sending evidence before my hearing did not kill my case. Despite this, he rudely explained that there was nothing he could do. I hadn't disclosed this prior to my call with Kevin, but I'm also a lawyer in the area and I was surprised by Kevin's unprofessional tone towards a potential client who was merely taking initiative in following the instructions provided by the BPAAR. I don't doubt Kevin's experience and ability to handle these matters. However, his condescending approach to client services were unprofessional and unnecessary.

Kevin helped us navigate an assessment appeal. He's extremely knowledgeable about the process, and did a great job explaining the process and went out of his way to keep us updated at every step. We're completely satisfied with the service he provided, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to assist with anyone's assessment appeal.

Kevin did an incredible job representing me in my case. He made himself available according to my schedule, he laid the facts of the case out in a way that was easy to follow and understand, he answered all my questions in a thoughtful manner, and he was straightforward and honest with his professional guidance.
