“Attorney David Manes was very helpful with my case. More importantly to me than any $ award -I have confidence in myself, restored after being stripped of it by my discriminating employer.”

Prompt and responsive communication
“David was wonderful to work with. Very professional and explained how every step would go. He and his team answered every question I had for them and in a timely manner.”
3
Achieved great results for clients
“David got me such a great result in my case! He gave a really good spanking and put a smile on my face during a rough time...after being tied up between everything that I was going through during this process, he gave me great confidence in the case and sure enough, the result was more than I thought it would even be to begin with.”
4
Highly knowledgeable and effective lawyers

Cons
1
Lack of communication and responsiveness from the firm
“Getting any response from David Manes or his office is near impossible after you've signed paperwork. Simple questions go unanswered, emails and phone calls are ignored.”
2
Concerns about billing practices and transparency
“Took my entire retainer only doing the minimum of work. The whole time I felt I was being scammed. At the end the guy I was suing didn't even know I was suing him. Complete waste of ”
3
Inconsistent and disorganized handling of cases
“I had the opposite experience. This law firm is all over the place, I was being contacted by multiple people who worked there telling I had mediation and dispositions all at different dates and times. When I would respond and tell them that so and so told me a different date, they would respond that they would look into it and get back to me, BUT NEVER GOT BACK TO ME.”
4
Overly aggressive settlement push
“They continuously told me I needed to settle. Almost like they wanted to make sure they were guaranteed money. There was a woman who worked at the firm but ended up leaving, she was the one originally on my case, she was PHENOMENAL. Constantly reaching out, keeping me updated, but when she left, Ruppert Manes Narahari called me and said they wanted to keep my case.”
5
Difficulty reaching or getting responses from lawyers
“I warn against believing everything stated by this law firm. They assured me that I had a 'good chance' in my appeals - and that the case law supported my position. I promptly paid all attorney fees and fulfilled all responsibilities as a client. However, I completely lost my appeal to the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review, as well as a further appeal to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.”
