John Richards is an absolute hero to any man falsely accused of abuse. Very open and honest communication, got a bogus pfa completely thrown out before we even had to see the inside of a court room. This was a nerve-racking situation to be in, evicted from my house, unable to communicate via any means with the opposing party, and John the Deriso law group made this a very easy process. Just want to update this review to address how well John and the team handled the custody case that followed the pfa. We definitely came into this as underdogs. We took the high road whenever possible, and somehow walked out of that court room with the mother and I agreeing on 50/50 custody. The real winner here is the child involved who now gets equal time with both parents. I can’t say enough positive things about this experience, for any dads fighting a system that’s stacked against us this is the group and the man you want in your corner. Thanks again John!

Couldn't say enough about this law firm. John represented me & had his best interest for me. John was available & easy to communicate with. John really pushed for me & represented all dad's that are going through the struggle of seeing there children.

We would give Brittany Petricca and everyone at DeRiso, DeRiso & Jeffries 10 stars if possible! We never had a fair shake until we hired Brittany and DeRiso, DeRiso & Jeffries. They were located in Pittsburgh, which thankfully was outside of Beaver County. They were not absorbed by all the "small town" corruption. Actually, I am not sure who puts a Judge in office, when they clearly have shown bias behavior in the past??? Just google Deborah Decostro, and see if this is a "judge" that you would want handling your case involving your children. Look deeper at what is published in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, back in 1999-2003. We were appalled to see what she was up against when we did research on all the parties involved. It was such and unfair trial. I mean the judge's husband worked directly with the opposing party in a professional manner for decades. These are the reasons why we hired Brittany with DeRiso, DeRiso & Jeffries. They were open and honest with us the entire time, kept us up to par with all the information that was ongoing, or failed to happen. This favoritism was ongoing throughout the entire trial. She was there even when they pulled the children back from us wrongfully, only to start my son late in his school year. What a JOKE Beaver County Courts are! But I forgot that was in our children's best interest! She stood up filing motion after motion, only to have it ignored by such ignorance by Judge Decostro! Brittany and DeRiso Law Group was worth every dime. We would only use this business!

I could not be happier with the representation and advice I received from Mr. Anthony (Tony) Piccirilli. He helped me win custody of my son in a case involving parental alienation. I am a dad (we all know there is a bias in the system against dads), and this was across state lines, so this was no small feat. He did a great job presenting a solid snapshot of the myriad documentation I had, and expertly walked my ex on cross into several lies she had told. He used a good mix of wit and humor in his questioning, as well. Most of all, he explained everything along the way so that I never got hit with surprises. After the case was won, he also did an outstanding job of defending against my ex's appeal and in filing contempt charges against my ex and winning those. From the first time I met with Tony, he was interested in the details of the case and was my ally through it all. I would recommend Tony to anyone in a similar situation, or even a less contentious case. He has the disposition to try to reach positive solutions but will also fight for you if that's the right course. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

Michael was absolutely amazing the whole process and was there every step of the way. He checked in often with us to go over things and took notes of everything we said, He fought hard for our case and proved his persistence and will to fight for us he was truly great to work with and as a person very easy to talk too and didn’t leave a single detail go unheard or ignored. We couldn’t and wouldn’t choose a better lawyer to work with! If you’re also looking for another amazing attorney with some added spice, I also highly recommend Brittany Petricca. Truly grateful for these two and their hard work!

Since I paid the DeRiso Law Group it has become more trouble than help. I "hired" Brittany Petricia in November. On the consult she was very nice and personable. She quotes me a number. Finally save enough money for it. Call and pay. Never contacted again. I was in a custody battle. Had my mediation at 10 am that day had to call 5 times before I got Jason to call me back. Very nice ! Around 6pm Brittany calls to apologize she had "court" . Sent bills with a $0 balance. Still happy with service but don't hear anything else. Call Dec 6th to ask for relocation motion..does good job. Never got anything. One week later , after cancelling , I was contacted by Brittany stating she "didn't know why I didn't receive anything" . Ok fine I don't need anything anymore just need to cancel. I signed no motion so nothing was ever filed. However charged $900 for this service. I had a remaining balance of $2340. I was informed, I signed a paper so I'm only entitled to $500. Not one care that a single mom working for $10 hr will loose $1800 . I only make about 2000 a month!!! Yes I signed that paper (I have no copy) but I expected a little understanding being how they didn't provide good service. So please do not think they care.........they were highly recommended but I highly DONT recommend them!!
