After going through five attorneys over many years, we found DeRiso DeRiso & Jeffries, and they turned our situation around, helping us learn when to speak and when not to, among other things that got us to where we are today. We were on a long losing streak in family court until we found Mike DeRiso, and his team changed all of that. Today, our son is with us 100% of the time, and he's thriving in high school, and we no longer have the threat of returning to family court looming over us. Not only are they completely professional, they are also very personable.

My name is Ryann, I have a case against cys. I called DeRiso, and Jeffries a week before my hearing. Mike DeRiso, , took my case in moments notice. My case with cys had been going on for 8 months. Mr. DeRiso, had every single detail about my case memorized. This includes my Team meetings, shelter hearing, adjudication hearing, and my adjudication review, which was just recently.. Mr DeRiso, had about 5 days to prepare for this. In this 5 days Mr.DeRiso, accomplished what 3 other attorneys could not. Mr.DeRiso, found every single defect in over 500 pages of paperwork dated back to September of 2021. When in my hearing no other attorney could even match the skill Mr. DeRiso has. If you ever heard of the saying [ A WOLF AMONG SHEEP] well Mr.DeRiso, sure was the wolf. Again, let me remind my case is against a government agency. Mr.DeRiso, planned an executed. Opposing attorneys kept there heads down. There was not one defect in Mr.DeRiso's performance nor could one opposing attorney counter anything. In conclusion, if your going through what I went through or have a custody problem. You won't find a better attorney. Communication, planning, execution and pure hospitality is all I encountered with DeRiso. Opposing attorneys will be taking notes on how to execute a successful hearing, when hiring Mr.DeRiso.

I was incarcerated for 6 months they kept rescheduling 2 different hearings that cost me a fortune!! They should of put it on hold until I was released, then when I get out they didn't want to reschedule when I was out what!!!.. Thousands of dollars wasted on nothing. I actually have considered contacting the ethics boards. Went through 2 different attorneys in less than a year.. I am assuming they just quit. Save your money 💰 find another firm who has integrity

Michael is the goto divorce/ custody attorney in Pittsburgh. Had a difficult case involving two young children, my first attorney was unable to keep up with the work load. Had a colleague make a suggestion to give Deriso a call via a positive experience. After speaking to a few other attorneys, met Michael and his staff and felt like these were the folks to help the cause. Well almost three long years later, Deriso did what was needed and found solutions where others could not. Money well spent with Deriso.

Brittany Petricca was a terrible lawyer. She charged me $350 to sit next to me at the court house after she asked me to be at court over a hour early ( I assumed to prepare) for her to be on her phone setting up her parking and go through her emails. If i had not started asking questions about what to expect , she had no intentions to prepare me about any details.. being on the stand or any parts of the process really. She was less than impressive at proving my side. She had no interest in my case.. I paid double her initial quote of $4,500 and still lost my relocation. I suggest finding someone with more experience that cares.

My experience with this firm was great , Harriet King and Cari Montgomery worked very hard on my case . Unfortunately, the opposing counsel was lackadaisical in their efforts . But these ladies were persistent and goal oriented in order to meet my needs in a timely manner . Thank you !

I didn’t know what to expect my first time in an attorney’s office, because I never needed these type of services. DeRiso, & DeRiso,& and Suber allow me to include my family and friends in this process, because they were my biggest supporters: they took conference calls, explained the processes, and answered many questions (over & over). Working with Mike and Nina was great to say the lease; they were professional, polite, straight shooters, and they helped me to feel comfortable as they walked me through the legal process. Once my family was comfortable with them and had confidence in their ability to deliver we had no worries. I would have liked to meet them on different terms however; if I ever need an attorney I know who to call. The SUPERLAWYER

Worst experience I ever had with a firm. They will send you emails and bill for hours that we not pertaining to the case. Go somewhere else.
