Ana Lisa Petrella is an extremely efficient, compassionate, and knowledgeable attorney. She got me through the very important process of dealing with child support successfully. Will you be charged for phone calls and emails? Of course. But her rates are reasonable and her experience is extensive, so she will not waste your time, or hers for that matter. When you reach out, she responds within the day, sometimes the hour if you catch her between hearings. She is a warm soul that clearly wants to help her clients get what they deserve. As a woman, I wanted a woman representing me through this process. She gave me the confidence to ask for what I needed, and to not give in to my natural instincts to roll over. I'm so grateful to the person who recommended Ana Lisa to me, and now I'm paying it forward to whoever reads this. Do yourself a favor, just call her. I have nothing but great things to say about this firm. I highly recommend Megan DelVecchio. She was incredible during my divorce. She was direct with me, managed expectations, and fought for me simultaneously. She won my case (in my opinion). She responded quickly to my correspondence and didn't waste time. The firm's staff is professional, diligent, communicative, and efficient. I liked that they didn't tell me what I wanted to hear or waste my money on useless items. I also want to note that they are LGBTQIA+ competent (especially Megan), as I am a community member. I would recommend them to other LGBTQIA+ folks.

Best attorney ever!!! I was unfortunate enough to be part of Family Court for the past 16 years with my ex husband and my son who will soon be 18. But, was fortunate enough to have Dan Glasser by my side as my attorney. He is experienced, thorough, and very smart. If you are fortunate enough to be able to retain him I would absolutely recommend him. Our case was brutal and my ex loves to litigate so it’s been a long 16 years, I don’t know how I would’ve survived it all without Dan Glasser.

Joe Williams and the staff of Pollock Begg are highly respected professionals. While I do not practice family law, The results that attorney Williams obtains are clearly indicative of the level of respect that the judges and hearing officers have for him in terms of not only his demeanor, but his expanse of knowledge of divorce/family law.

I worked with Morgan Bonekovic for my no-contest divorce. She was very easy to work with. Morgan and her team were excellent at communicating and kept me aware of each step in the process. I was very happy with the service here.

They advised me to address my criminal case by initiating a PFA case. I spent $$$ for a paragraph and sat for hours in court. They appeared with me, knowing it would be postponed, and charged me another $$$. They told me I needed to hire a criminal lawyer 2 days before my case because they didn’t have one to send, that was another $$$$. But that firm showed up, exceeded the desired expectations THIS firm requested to win the PFA, and did it with one court visit that lasted 30 minutes. The PFA hearing was postponed again, another full day in court, then not given clear billing expectations moving forward. An emergency arises, there’s a PFA violation, my lawyer is on vacation, co-counsel is slow to respond, the lack of action resulted in a PFA being filed against me. Told them I planned to change firms, they offered me a lower flat fee, promised to address my concerns about lack of urgency or communication, I paid them another $$$$. They made no effort to communicate or keep me informed, likely because they weren’t doing anything to prepare or ensure the desired outcome for the cases. I did the investigative research they suggested, but weren’t doing. I researched claims and accusations, pointed out lyes, and provided evidential proofs. They were so ill prepared for the case that the judge was genuinely frustrated. While my character was being ripped to shreds, the JUDGE asked my lawyer why aren’t they objecting. The conclusion? Another full day in court. My case for the PFA violation was dismissed and a PFA was granted against me. They have negated any validation I had of being a victim from the criminal trial. I relived all my trauma to provide them the resources to protect me from being fearful of them ever happening again. He got to walk away smiling, calling himself the victim, while I have to live with the perpetual fear of being arrested if he sees me somewhere. While I hate to leave such a terrible review, its impact will pale in comparison to how your terrible service has impacted me.

In my opinion this firm is the classic "litigate until the money is gone" model. I put an offer on the table and they advised their client to reject it. A year later the same offer was accepted, after they had billed their client an almost commensurate amount. So they basically took the settlement money, instead of its intended recipient who had already paid it to them.

Divorce is never a fun event. But throw kids in the mix and it makes it harder. A friend introduced me to Ana Lisa and am so thankful he did. Ana Lisa was responsive, comprehensive in her approach and thought of things I did not even know existed. Every decision made was always with my kids in mind and she kept that in the forefront of every decision. I honestly do not think I could have gotten to this peace in my custody agreement. I could not recommend her enough and actually have done so with two more friends. Thank you, Ana Lisa! I hope because of all your hard work, I never have to use you again. But if I do, I know you will help me find the path best for me and my kids.

I wanted to share my experience working with Pollock & Begg and my lawyer Stephanie Jablon. Let me start by saying.. My divorce/custody case was very involved and complicated. There were several hurdles that my Lawyer Stephanie Jablon was able to manage and overcome leading to an amazing outcome! I was always confident in Stephanie’s ability to review/prepare legal documents such as evidence, motions, filings, etc. My case lasted over 2 years. (No fault to P&B, my ex dragged her feet immensely through the ordeal). Throughout that time, Stephanie was professional and timely on all matters. She never missed a filing and was engaged and invested in my case! I would recommend her to anyone seeking legal help.
