Over the years, I have dealt with many attorneys, for both my personal and professional needs. My experience with this particular firm, has been the worst, and believe me, I have had bad experiences in the past. This firm does not keep their promises. They come out appearing to know what they are doing, and getting fired up to take the case. Once that retainer is in hand - do not expect them to meet with you, return phone calls, or emails for that matter. They will not follow up with you on how your case is to proceed, nor will they inform you on conversations or outcomes of items related to your case. Save yourself a lot of grief and look elsewhere.

I highly recommend Gary Gerson for any criminal defense. I had some issues 20 years earlier stemming from a divorce and getting dui's when I first met Gary. I had also met with other attorneys but knew Gary was the one. He was forthright and cared by not treating me with kid gloves. I was still being irresponsible feeling sorry for self and Gary told me that he will walk me through this and do the best he could but I had do my part by quit drinking & get my head together. He really inspired me and that is still part of me today. All these years later, I got myself into a pickle by writing some emails to a managerial co-worker that was somewhat harsh. They wasn't threatening but judgmental and perhaps somewhat unprofessional. I was shocked as this person went for the jugular by serving me arrest warrant for Stalking M2 & Harassment M2. Without hesitation, I called Gary and we met in his office the next day or two. He was confident he could help and explained his game plan and why it was necessary because these was serious charges possibly resulting in jail time. I was actually uptight about these charges thinking how stupid to get myself in this situation. The preliminary was 3 months out but Gary instantly relieved my stress because I knew he would give me his best. Preliminary, he negotiated with DA, complainant, & arresting officer to postpone hearing for 90 days and we agreed to a mental & alcohol evaluation during such time. I went for evaluations where they released me of no issues with mental state or alcohol. Needless to say, Charges never left magistrate's office. He listens and not only stands tall with you without judgement, he is vastly experienced & knows all the players from Da's to judges. He really goes to bat for you and even after he got my charges reduced from M2's down to 1 summary count (Non-traffic) he still pitched the judge that he has known me and these charges don't reflect on me plus I had been out of work due to these charges and the judge signed off with NO further penalty. I couldn't ask for anything more. Gary will always be my attorney but feels more like a lifelong friend. Don't be foolish by picking an attorney you see on television or online ads. This is the guy you want in your corner!
