Cons
1
Poor communication and lack of responsiveness from some attorneys
“I had to go through 4 lawyers during a custody and divorce case because of so many lawyers leaving the firm. I was continuously charged for every time that I had to update a new lawyer assigned to the case, and was told to settle the majority of the time.”
2
Concerns about billing practices and fees being unreasonable
“There are no children involved. Two years later after the ex finally decided to sign the paper work, we get an invoice of an additional $3500 dollars. They said he spent 16 hours on a divorce that had no assets, absolutely no property and no contest. It was just sitting on his desk waiting for the ex to sign. My son was charged $6500 for this. This is unethical.”
