I received a phone call from Chaffin Luhana law firm today. The young lady that I spoke with was very professional , explained everything to me and very pleasant to talk to.

I really like the people that I have spoken to; them seem very competent and they are very courteous.

The ease of working with Chaffin Luhana was amazing. Chelsea kept me constantly informed on my case. If I ever needed a law firm for anything else I would definitely call Chelsea to have them work my case!

I cannot say enough good things about attorney Anthony Werner. We have an extremely difficult, emotional, and complex case concerning the sellers of a home that we purchased and Anthony has been phenomenal throughout this entire process. He was assigned to our case after our initial attorney left the firm (he was great, too!) and pulled together an incredible case (and won it!) with 18 hours of notice. He’s calm, responsive, knowledgeable, and passionate. I would absolutely recommend Very Law and Anthony to anyone and everyone in the Pittsburgh area!

Look elsewhere. I paid them over 2,000 to write a letter even though they verbally agreed to inform me if my bill went above the 1,000 retainer fee. Since I knew one of the lawyers as a comedic colleague - I took them at their word. That was huge mistake on my part. I'm only posting this now to inform the public after seeing from recent reviews that this law firm repeatedly decieves their clients.

Stay Away!! If you value your case and are looking for lawyers who fight for you, keep looking. An Attorney at Very law missed my filing deadline in 2021 despite being retained, at full cost and 1/3 more, late 2020. I pleaded with them to file for me, for months, sending emails why it was urgent and yet the (1) task went undone. Still, the retainer was used generously but mysteriously - no filing! I can’t get 5 months of anguish back but you can save yourself some time! LGBTQ Community- stay away and be warned, they are not willing to treat your case like it matters, but they will act like they want to fight for you. Once the money is received however- You will find nothing but opportunistically drawn out obscured processes, hidden fees and side stepping in all actuality. I paid 1/3 more than their asking retainer to try to impress upon them I was a client of some worth - it did not ultimately matter as the deadline passed without my attorney filing despite my best efforts. My attorney missed the one and only deadline to file. He ignored my email asking for a meeting to discuss expectations in light of the missed filing deadline. His only answer was an invoice sent next day where He charged me 60$ for reading that one email I sent 24 hours before having to file myself, out of necessity. In this email he responds, 24 hours before the deadline revealing that he never filed but could make notes ‘if I would like him to.’ All this, despite written correspondence saying he would file the charge entirely himself, and then he would contact me once it was done - over two months previous to that missed deadline. Look elsewhere for legal representation- they do not have all their clients interest in mind. I can’t guess who gets priority but it wasn’t me. And I paid in full, and up front a 2k + retailer.

I retained Attorney Russell Turner for my family law case. He was always very professional and responsive. We built such a good rapport that I wanted to keep him on retainer. Mr. Turner acted swiftly to respond to the petition that was filed and made me feel at ease , as I was not well versed in the family law process. I had my consultation with Mr. Very and Mr. Turner and I left out of there feeling more confident about my situation. Also, Nicki at reception was always pleasant when I called, no matter how upset I was. I would definitely recommend the Very law frim to anyone looking for representation.
