I would not hesitate to highly recommend the attorneys at Berger and Lagnese, LLC, especially Josh Berger and David Paul. My experience was mostly with Josh and he was very compassionate, encouraging, understanding, and thoughtful in dealing with my life's loss and emptiness (as was David). Any time I had a question, I could always reach out to him and I never once felt I was a bother to him or David or Jo Marie with my questions (and I am the type of person who is not afraid to ask questions). His staff is well chosen and patient and always polite. Josh and David work very hard to do their very best for you and your family. Josh never gives up and he builds a foundation of trust from square one. They all have mine and my families gratitude and a special place in our hearts.

I'm an Ohio malpractice lawyer who needs to occasionally hire Pennsylvania counsel for my Ohio clients who've encountered medical mistakes in PA. After careful research, and based on word of mouth referrals from some of my colleagues, I chose Berger and Lagnese to help my clients make doctors and hospitals accountable for their mistakes. I chose them for two reasons. First, medical malpractice is their primary focus. Second, this firm knows how to go the distance. Their verdicts speak for themselves. Lots of firms "advertise" that they handle malpractice, but very few have the knowledge, resources, and moxie to take a case all the way to trial. They get it, they live it in the trenches, and it shows. And their staff is wonderful to work with and extremely nice.

Unless you have an easy case don’t use this firm. My case was punted to Ana Lisa Petrella and she quit from my case 1 week before my hearing. She withdrew because of miscommunication , even though i had communicated my wants multiple times. It is called not listening, not caring, and only wanting to play nice with other attorneys. I called to discuss with someone, anyone at this firm since Ana Lisa withdrew without having a conversation with me about it (only got an email stating she quit) and i got the run around or pushed to a voice mail with no call back. This law firm is a joke. Take your money elsewhere.

My family member had an unknown urology injury after surgery. My family member returned to the hospital feeling awful. The hospital sent him/her home on antibiotics. Still feeling poorly family member returned to hospital again and had to have urgent / emergent surgery to repair urology injury. Law office said family member did not have a case. Family member still with on going urology issues. Very disappointed with this attorney.
